@xyzdorky66 Honestly I love any F-Body. Both of those cars are about the same, I already considered getting the TA WS6 but I can't seem to find a nice one under $25K. Camaros are a bit more common but thanks to this You also get a better choice when looking for a good buy.

I heard that cars with mileage of more than 50K are not the best choice to customize and the nice (10-20k) ones cost a bit more. Well $25K was an overestimate, I didin't look at them for a while, but I can remember that they had a tricked out TA for 40k and SS for 37k.......
@g00dl00kinb0i mines completely stock with 125k miles on it and runs fine, if you wanna spend 15k i suggest getting one that the motor has extremely high miles and the car costs like 7k, and then just drop a brand new ls3 and new tranny for another 8k, itll certainly be faster then anything youll find, and itll run like brand new. im basically doing the same thing, but my engines still good so im gonna wear her out for now. My only other suggestion is to get a 93-98 supra twinturbo that is stock
As to KM/h - please stop getting excited and stupid anytime Y'all see it.
The truth is the majority of the world uses KM/h and other metric units, quite frankly I don't understand why the world need two different sets of units, but keep in mind what I just said. I lived in Europe before, now I live in US and never had any kind of reaction like this. Most cars have MPH and KM/h so slower people can see how much is 50 or 70MPH in KM/h and maybe take their eyes off the road for long enough :)
The check engine light could be on for a myriad of reasons- something as simple as an intake or exhaust could cause the light to come on- it doesn't necessarily mean anything is wrong with the car-

@giadze My car does fine i run early 13's late 12's. i've got a 3.42 rear end, slp LM2 exhaust, pacesetter longtube headers, k&n short ram air intake, i tuned my PCM myself, NGK iridium spark plugs, and a nice set of hoosier slicks. the only thing thats ever gone out on this car is the water pump which i fixed in a day. granted i can see the tranny going out next but thats just because of how hard im getting it to shift. but ya i drag it fine man engine runs as good as new

@CarbineGuy Well fact is they do! I have beat stock Cobras in a Stock SS! And GTs don't even stand a chance! My best time in a bone stock 01 SS is a 12.80 and I was racing a 04 Cobra. He lost by a car. Then I raced him on the street. He lost by 2 cars then. I have not had the chance to take my Z28 down the track but I would Estimate a good low 13 at least. If I get my launch right. But work has kept me very busy over the weekends. And even at low 13s that's close to driver error against a stock
@2568354896 Ummm... It's called experience and a very well prepped track! Clutch and throttle control coming out of the hole, good shifts and don't let off of the gas! Check out some videos on here. The quickest 100% stock 01-02 SS 1/4 is a 12.6something.

And on the street I had 2 lengths until we hit 125MPH where I shifted into 5th gear. And then he slowly walked around me. We both had equal mods. Exhuast, and short shifter 6 speed.
Buddy, this is shit, General Motors claimed 3500 Ibs without driver with LS1 (460Ibs fully loaded) + additional (120Ibs gearbox). So your car is modded if you have 3200Ibs. Anyway, you can't against Mustang GT 2011, do math, look the numbers.

@roarxida Yeah, I think the LS1 Camaros are a better total package! And if you can, try to get a 2001 or 2002! In 01 they gave the LS1s the LS6 intake, LS6 MAF, Better cam, better factory tune, suspension tweaks, better clutch, and a better rear end. But even the 98-00s are freakin awesome! I ran a 12.82 in mine when it was stock on street tires! I now have some bolt ons but the tracks here are closed for the winter.

@giadze My car does fine i run early 13's late 12's. i've got a 3.42 rear end, slp LM2 exhaust, pacesetter longtube headers, k&n short ram air intake, i tuned my PCM myself, NGK iridium spark plugs, and a nice set of hoosier slicks. the only thing thats ever gone out on this car is the water pump which i fixed in a day. granted i can see the tranny going out next but thats just because of how hard im getting it to shift. but ya i drag it fine man engine runs as good as new

@CarbineGuy Well fact is they do! I have beat stock Cobras in a Stock SS! And GTs don't even stand a chance! My best time in a bone stock 01 SS is a 12.80 and I was racing a 04 Cobra. He lost by a car. Then I raced him on the street. He lost by 2 cars then. I have not had the chance to take my Z28 down the track but I would Estimate a good low 13 at least. If I get my launch right. But work has kept me very busy over the weekends. And even at low 13s that's close to driver error against a stock

@2568354896 Ummm... It's called experience and a very well prepped track! Clutch and throttle control coming out of the hole, good shifts and don't let off of the gas! Check out some videos on here. The quickest 100% stock 01-02 SS 1/4 is a 12.6something.

After we left the drag strip we did a top speed run! I had 2 lengths on him the whole way until I hit 125MPH and shifted into 5th gear. Then he slowly started to gain on me, but very slowly. You Ford fans thought the 5.0 would bail you guys out, but it won't and doesn't! 5.0s are overated. Mustangs period are overated! Get over it.

Of course you are faster with Camaro SS 2010 than Mustang GT 2010, because both weights similar about 1700kg ~(3600Ibs), and Camaro have 425bhp, Mustang 405-410bhp and less torque. Mustang GT500 is even heavier (1800kg )3800Ibs.

We both bracket race on weekends My car weighs 3200lbs full interior, fluids and no driver I have weighed it. I don't know where you got 3600 from. I won both on the track with 2 lengths. And on the street I had 2 lengths until we hit 125MPH where I shifted into 5th gear. And then he slowly walked around me. We both had equal mods. Exhuast, and short shifter 6 speed.

Buddy, this is shit, General Motors claimed 3500 Ibs without driver with LS1 (460Ibs fully loaded) + additional (120Ibs gearbox). So your car is modded if you have 3200Ibs. Anyway, you can't against Mustang GT 2011, do math, look the numbers.

@roarxida Yeah, I think the LS1 Camaros are a better total package! And if you can, try to get a 2001 or 2002! In 01 they gave the LS1s the LS6 intake, LS6 MAF, Better cam, better factory tune, suspension tweaks, better clutch, and a better rear end. But even the 98-00s are freakin awesome! I ran a 12.82 in mine when it was stock on street tires! I now have some bolt ons but the tracks here are closed for the winter.

BS. You obviously have a speedo setup for a 2.73 rearend and must have put (educated guess) 3.73 gears into it. Unless you are trying to say that your car accellerates as fast as a Z06? 60-130mph is a common measuring stick for exotics and such: your fake timing would put you right ahead of a Z06. Riiiiight
