  • this is perty

  • could you please play the whole song? i'd lik to rip it to mp3 and put it on my ipod.

make a whole collection if you will - ill upload them all to my ipod xD

  • This sounds beautiful. Is this a composition of your own?

  • Hi Mick, I just have one question, what are your setting on your M13 to get this as pure delay ??? I have a M13 too but I would be curious ot know how you're doing ;)

(I am especially interested in "modspd" and"depth" control).

    Thank you

  • If your getting an axe fx for the u2 type delays do you need to get the ultra version or will the normal one do fine?

  • @treymax88 normal is fine. there are some added effects like synth in the ultra and more cpu power thats about it for differences

  • great job mick, now have to try mercy and do your own improvision of it with these little amps, ttyl

  • Killer sound, man! Awesome!

  • Hey Mick, great clip as usual.

I'm in the market for a cheap "bedroom" amp, and was fairly set on the ac4tv for a while. But your lunchbox demos have gotten me confused :)

I mostly like playing u2 (and radiohead) covers - no aspirations to be a musician, just having fun - I got a (psionic audio) Triad and a nova delay. Considering this: which amp would you get ?

Should I sell the pedals and get a M13 ?

    Best regards

    Odd

  • Thanks for the quick response , so I am thinking of buying the Axe FX along with the foot controller they make , what do you think of the atomic amps that there selling them ? I am considering buying those as well , what do you think is it worth the money ? , Thanks again .

  • Are you still using the Axe FX unit ? if not do you like this line 6 better ? great demo's , thanks .

  • @TheSAJ11 Of course..I use the Axe fx rig live with my band and the M13 at home Both are great

  • Hi Mick, great videos! I wanted to know what you thought of the ZT's tone and volume compared with the AC30 especially for live use? Sounds like you cop the AC30 tone on all your vids with the ZT, but are you having to use a lot of EQ from the M13 to do this? Or does the ZT get close the the AC tone on its own? I am asking because one of the largest barriers to me playing out live right now is the right sized right priced amp. Most of my favorite players use an AC30 in the studio and live.

  • @soundofseventythree no comparison to the ac30. The ac30 is just louder, fuller ect..but its also a 2x12 so Im not sure. I havent tried the lunchboxes with an external speaker yet because i dont have the right wattage speaker. I dont use any eq ever Im just not a fan of it. For home playing/recording the ZT stuff is awesome!! I have used it live and Im sure if miced can work but i like my ac30. I know ZZ top and Echoe and the Bunnymen use it live and it works for them.

  • I could listen to that melody over and over...

  • @malamutelocomotive wow Thanks!

  • simply ...it sound great

you're a sort of "wizard" ,Mick, and I still do not understand, how from your "little" amps can come out, these awesome sounds,so clean!?!?

    Mick...the two mics are condensors?

    Ciao,cheers thanks!

  • @spikelive Thanks yhes both are condensors both use phantom power. BTW the ZT acoustic has another mic channel and its xlr and supplies phantom if needed

  • can wait to hear them at the next gig

  • you have great ideas mick, i wished i had more time or made more time to play guitar. thanks again for a great vid.

  • Mick your tone is absolutely gorgeous in this video. Amazing.

  • mick why are you setting the mic far from the speaker and skewed? is it better?

  • @giovannibrunoro cause i dont have a stand that low and i have no patience. Yea it sounds good prob could be better with mic placement. These mics are bigger than the amp :) Mic on left is a at3035 mic on right is an old Octava both condensors

  • @mick3b1g thank you mick :)

  • You Tube gives a limit of around 10 minutes long for each vid on here and u only give us 56 seconds!!!!!, go back and do it again, 10 mins this time, it sounds great

  • @smurf022 it was longer but my computer crashes all the time when rendering and this is all i got

  • @mick3b1g ok, im buying u a new computer, its in the post :)

  • @smurf022 ok I will give you my zt acoustic then :)

  • have u noticed much of a difference in the amps? I've been thinking about getting a 1-12" cab for mine give me some more deep bass. I powered my buddy's marshall halfstack cab and it sounded pretty cool

  • @mrkyt77 yes there is a diff The acoustic is more hi fi and to my ears seems to have some sort of limiter or compressor in it. It acts like theres sag or somthing. theres 2 channels and both sound great. The reg lunchbox has more midrange while the acoustic sounds a bit scooped and more low end. Together they sound amazing :)

  • Hey Mick,

    Absolutly beautiful :)

    John

    Harmsworth

  • i still can not believe how awesome this little bastard sounds :))) how is it possible?... :)

  • @pupack How dare you! Mick is not a little bastard!

Kidding, but Mick gets amazing sounds out of anything you know. EWB

  • hey mick, would you suggest any of these amps for synthesizers/drum machines? if so, which one is more suitable for that sound range? thanks!

  • @whisperingvenus Thats a great question and one i had as well. I will let you know i bought the acoustic version for my elec piano for a monitor on stage. So many variables..Ext cabs open these amps to a new world which I havent tried yet. Also theres a cool trick on the back if you put a dummy aux 1/8 cord and plug it in to the aux input..you get a huge boost in vol and makes this amp open up even more.

  • @mick3b1g Please keep me in the loop for info, cos i'm sick of hauling my bulky KB5 for my synths and drum machines for band practice :-) Yeah I thought the acoustic one would be more suitable.

I've been wondering if this so-called 200watt pushing on the 6.5" driver would be loud enough to keep up with a drummer? how about if we stack it with the stock cab? Thanks

  • beauty!

  • Nice stuff , I love stereo.
