I ruined my control I don't know what happened I think I have to learn how to use the soldering gun it's gave hard time but my ps3 control dosen't turn on good thing I have guarantee for 2 years and I didn't do a hole on my ps3 control and tomorrow I gone use my guarantee and get another control then I try it again.

Guys please help I play battlefield 3 and when I press the R3 button to run it sometimes won't work like 3/4 times it wont work also when I try to throw a grenade with L2 it won't work until like 5 or 10 seconds later is it my ps3 or control PLEASE REPLY idk what to do know I'm really worried it might be my ps3 will u please help me out thanks for your time.

How much would it cost to buy one from you? It's not that I'm too lazy or don't have the technical know-how. I'm disabled and this would be very helpful. The joystick buttons are often too hard to press (lucked out buying refurb) and I had to switch to the Lefty scheme for Black Ops because I can't push one joystick forward and down to sprint.  I don't care if it's a regular Sixaxis or DS3 (or USB if it works and saves cost).

What about a DualShock 2?

Also would you know how to remove the pressure sensitivity from the L2/R2? I bought ModNation Racers and have to tape R2 down to play for any decent amount of time without arm pain or rapid deceleration.

@auskye I'm not sure if i could do that with the existing buttons, I could add new buttons that wouldn't be pressure sensitive. If I have time I'll crack a controller open this weekend and see what I can do.

@auskye If I were to make one using a new DS3 it would be around $75. I don't even know what a old ds2 goes for these days but I could do it to that if you wanted, whatever the price +$15.

Hi umm my problem is when Im playing any online game my character suddenly freezes like my controller ran out of batteries but I look at my controller and its fully charged. Is it my controller, the ga,e or the disc? I have the classic white controller.

Hi, I have a few quick questions. I noticed you're using black wires, which solder points are positive and negative? and can I use tactile on/off buttons as long as its 3 volts? thats all I can find on ebay. And finally does holding the new button work for holding the L3 button like in call of duty, holding your breath to steady your aim?. This would be a great mod for me, since with my disability I have to use my palms to use L3/R3. Hope to hear from you soon!, Thanks!

@Moosh89 polarity doesn't matter, any switch should work voltage shouldn't matter, and yes holding them works fine.

my problem is i raged and my Controllers Left stick Dosent go to middle at all unless u hold it. its Half way out of controller and the out rim is holding it in but it jerks to left right up and down and corners of controller any way to push it back in or get it back in?

i have a dualshock 3 controller and it wont vibrate at all. vibration is turned on in accessory settings and on game settings, but it won't vibrate. i play mw2 so it vibration compatible. and it won't vibrate. can any 1 help? also it has sticky analogs only going forward. it either stops or even goes backwards sometimes its really annoying.

Nice! Is there any way to break the original circuit instead of physically destroying the button? In that case you could also have a DPDT (double pole, double throw) switch to toggle between the original and new buttons!

On the first one i did that is how i disabled the buttons, but there are so many different boards that you would have to find them yourself. Also soldering leads from the circuit paths would be take some pretty precise soldering
