I've only been crocheting for a week as of today, but I can do afew stitches pretty well. Now every time I single/double/triple stitch I move the hook through the whole and then to the left, down, and around the string, I noticed sometimes she goes to the right down and around, and sometimes to the left, in no apparent order. Does it matter?

@BART9776 Start with a magic circle, sc 10 sc in the ring and tighten, then sl st, The continue to go around and around the ring with increases and scs for 7 or 8 rnds, then sc in each sc till you gat to your desired length. it's a simple way but keept looking at videos and reading up on Google for tutorials and patterns

if u mean to save it .. u can get any thing about the size of your hook and stick it in... or just leave the hook there if you will not use it for something else

I should have commented a little better last time. I've been crocheting for 10 years and have won numerous awards for my work. This lady isn't doing it the traditional way, but as long as her stitches are even and look nice, I don't think there is a problem with it.
