This game was made on a budget, yet no other RTS that I've played had the brains to throw you a curve ball like unreliable instructions due to communications failure. Brilliant.

I was only 10 when I played this first time round and I remember thinking to myself that the Commando is rubbish against vehicles, so if I take out their ability to make vehicles, it'll make my mission easier. To my surprise that ended the mission successfully and I went onto the next one. Logical thinking is awesome.

In the demo of this game this is one of the levels except that it TELLS you to destroy the airstrip. So when I played the full game, I knew instantly what to do. I totally felt like I cheated. It was awesome. :P

I firgured that there were 7 *s on the 'destroy the *******' part and after 3 tries, I concluded it was the airport, it was the real target I was supposed to destroy.

1st time played i ran in thru the front the door and blew up the hand of nod then it said mission accomplished and im like wtf??

I took me quite a while before I realised I wasnt supposed to destroy the refinery...lulz

I was playing this mission a few years back(never completed it before)and because i was lost for ideas i just started force firing on the bridge with my commando. Seconds later, for some reason the words mission acomplished popped up on the screen and the level was done. I really dont know how this happend because if i remember correctly you are supposed to destory the airstrip in order to complete the mission. Now did i miss something here or what? because surley that wasn't suposed to happen.

If you destroy any building other than the airstrip you partially complete the mission, and Carter contacts you to say you missed the airstrip but then gives you a full mcv to go and do it properly.

in this mission you had to destroy the NOD Airstrip in order to skip the "next" mission

it froze so it could block out the swearing. if u look on the restate, it says all these stuff like, ******* destroy the ******* ********, and then get the **** out!

I love how the briefing keeps freezing up. It took me quite a while to accomplish this mission correctly.

That mission with the Commando is one of the coolest missions I've ever played.
