Actually, the inspiration was the Kathryn Helmond character in "Brazil"...the entire show was about recycling and garbage, hence the pile of debris from past McQueen shows. As for the music, it was everything from disco to Manson: music once again all recycled from past McQueen shows. This one was THE highlight of the season. Check out the New York Time's Cathryn Horne piece for an intellectual breakdown of this fantastic show.
