Hi. I am a fellow British and I heard about this in the news.
I am appalled. Useless place actually. Then they decide to put a young man in jail for losing his indentification card (MyCard or something) OMG!! ... bummer.... :-(
I visited Malaysia end of last year (Visit Year 2007) and to my surprise, it was the worst visit ever. I even filed a report to Oxford Travel Agency for the condition in the country - the polluted air, the stinking drains and worse ; rubbish thrown everywhere.
