Yes, Amazon had it on pre-order for a very short while before withdrawing pre-orders. Maybe Acer have decided it will sell better with Ion 2 and an SU5300.

It was due out at the end of April in the UK. so it looks like the 532g has been shelved by Acer.

Oh well, maybe one of the other manufacturers will be the first netbook with an ion 2.

These are excelent news for Gamers, NVidia ION Rocks! I now have a GeForce 8600 GTS on my desktop but I'm probably sure Nvidia Ion2 beats my old graphics card, besides it's time to replace my old Intel Pentium D with 2.8Ghz with a CPU which uses less electricity but has similar results when playing games

This is running the ION 2, but it's the 8 core version. this one is just about as powerful as the ION. The 16 core version of ION 2 is more powerful than the 8 core one in the video.

this was done during the MWC show, i can't repeat it. It seems to be the new light version of the 2nd Ion generation. The numbers are accurate!

Can you easily OC the n450 or something? The problem with gaming netbooks is the CPU! If this is not more powerful than the old Atom, then games like Team Fortress 2 still wont run... as those kinds of games rely more on the CPU than the graphics card.

Though Ion 2 seems impressive.

N450 only has slight performance improvement, we been saying that before it was even released. Its the battery life where you see big improvements.

And so far Tegra 2's ## are below the original Tegra, but Ion does improve atom performance!!!

the benchmark is testing intel gpu not the ion 2... you can clearly see that at start of the video. at around 0:15

man, this is called the optimus technology. Ion kicks in as soon as the benchmark starts! Without Ion the Intel gpu would only score around 700 points!
