The problem with the current "talents" is that they don't have the passion for what they are doing. For them its all money, exposure and fame. I don't have anything against those people its just that there are no artist compared with this one.
I am so sorry that Rodel is no longer on this earth as I have only just discovered him, but we have his beautiful music and video's of him singing which will have to sustain us. R.I.P. You will be missed by so many people who you never knew.

I really have no memory of him as an artist, singer performer, or was it an oversight or could it be the creeping dementia setting in, but no regrets, I have been able to catch up at heto isang avid fan na. @delianaval Thank you so much for finding time to reply to my comments. Honestly, I was born in 1952 but I only found out details about your brother just last week. I really have no memory of him as an artist, singer performer, or was it an oversight or could it be the creeping dementia setting in, but no regrets, I have been able to catch up at heto isang avid fan na. Hope to meet you someday. Currently, I am working in a diplomatic mission but I cannot disclose. Will be retiring in 2012.

Dito ko masasabi na itong imahe nya ang gusto kong maalala ..forever, robust (hale and Healthy) masaya ang ngiti. Mga matang nangungusap. I could only make a wild guess.. he must be 37 years old here. Tama ang 'packaging'. That long hair gave him that 'character'. Sana magkaroon ka pa ng enough time to post more photographs and information about your brother Rodel. Most of the photo's are without details. Ang dami naming naghihintay...believe me.

One of my favorite OPM. To all Kababayan's kung wala kayong masabing maganda igalang nyo ang legacy ng taong patay na. One of our problems instead of supporting each other, we are disrespectful to one another. I grew up listening to his music and his memories will be in my heart forever. To the family of Rodel kudos for posting his music. Thanks for sharing. :)

Rodel used to occasionally dance with Aldeguer Sisters on some TV shows. The Aldeguer Sisters were famous dancers in late '70s. Aldeguer Sisters were decent and respectable showbiz dancers.

Rodel's gift and talent from God is his "GOLDEN VOICE" It is great, amazing, and powerful. He is indeed one of the greatest Filipino male singers. He is very articulate in all of his songs, sings with all of his heart, with much feeling, emotion and passion that gives me goosebumps and tears. He touches me! I love listening to his music over and over. His legacy of beautiful music will live on and be remembered forever. Will purchase his CD in support of his foundation. Fan from Hawaii.
