  • believing in god seems more sane than trying to comprehend our universe XD let's just believe in god ..it's simpler that way..

  • @CamaroHappy This about sums up simple religious rationalization pretty much perfectly...

  • Beautiful.

  • So, why the fuck are we spending more money on wars than space exploration?

  • @Heremateyerma Humanity is not ready for that. We're still maturing. That's why we fight petty wars. It's no different than 2 gorillas fightin' over some peanuts. We're jus' clever, conceited apes. In reality, space exploration is way out of our league. Give us another 2000 years.

  • Aw they made new version of photoshop? Maybe new fakes from nasa will be better than all before.

  • WRONG!

the first image was Chuck Norris tea bagging the andromeda galaxy.

  • Every time I watch a video like this.. I sit here After it is finished sometimes and all of a sudden wake up from being stuck in my mind catch myself staring at the corner of my Monitor or up into the ceiling just thinking trying to visualize Sometimes 30 minutes to an hour and a half. The Universe It really is an amazing place.

  • No entendí nada de nada

  • God is real ... God is something you believe not something you can see.. Sure evolution exist but probably god was the one who created evolution... He was the creator of the first species.. From their he let evolution take over.. When they say Adam and eve where the first humans.. That means they where the first to evolve from something to humans... When they say god created the earth in seven days it means he created it in god days not in 24 hrs human days.. 1 god day could of been 1,000,000

  • @MrVictom I wonder what was on Gods mind that he took the time to create allllllll of this HUGE BEAUTIFUL shit in space...to come to one little planet and make a huge fuck up that is the human race.

  • God is a genius.

  • @raggamm The whole star thing is pretty clever isn't it? I mean, you get it? Let there be light? You get it?

  • @jshjamaarify hahahah i get it, lol... people, if you want answers, look within.

  • Billion dollar repair? That can't be right. The reporter must a screwed up.

  • objective - populate other planets

  • stupid annoying voice

  • HOLY SH*T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • just look at all that recipe for life...that is something no god can create...evolution is the truth

  • 1 billion dollar repair mission lol

  • Worth every dollar!

  • hey, a billion dollars ain't what it used to be......relax, it's only pennies per galaxy

  • ive seen better mattar fact ive seen more real pictures then these

  • I watched this and my jaw just dropped. THIS is what I'd pay for! Not some stupid shit-ass boat that can kill more humans at a larger range.

THIS is where our tax money should go. Space!

  • say they do find a way to make a ''worm hole'' or some type of ripple that distorts time and space to travel vast distances within short amounts of time. from earth we go to the andromeda galaxy about 2 million light years away which means we see it and 2 million years ago. do you think we would end up there 2 million years ago or living at this current time but looking at our own milky way 2 million years ago?

  • you are all fools. god made the universe and the devil is tricking you into beleiving this old earth crap.

  • @mamushi72sai5575 He also tricked me into playin da foozball..!

  • So what frequency in the wave spectrum travels most efficiently through space and reaches us with the most power or brightness.

  • don't you think that the money used in the repair was just printed and not actually earned??

  • the all pwerful country should help each other to make a extremly great hubble telescope than can see somehow some surface of heavenly body in universe.. like china, japan, russia, germany, usa, middle east, etc. why

  • @mudtrak654 Yeah thier working on a new one right now that will make hubble small in comparrison here in europe.should be quiet incredible.

  • I have read somewhere or seen at a documentary, I don't remember, that all these space images are not in color. Actually they are more back and white ones, but they add some filters to colorise them in order to look alike the way they should be. By the other side we can say, Earth is blue, Mars is red, they are stars which are red giants, or blue giants or so. Well does anyone know about this subject? The colors in space images.

  • They are composite pictures. Our eyes only see a narrow band of the electromagnetic spectrum. (visible light) The images we see from advanced space instruments are combined versions of infrared, gamma, ultraviolet and X-ray wavelengths.

The pictures are combined and colorized so we can interpret them visually. Typically, red=hot, cold = blue; But not always!

Spectroscopy analyzes data much more accurately than we can with our eyes, but seeing images this way helps us understand intuitively.

  • Some of the images ARE visible wavelengths only. Many of the most revealing and fantastic images are composites of other wavelength data that has been filtered or colorized so that we can see them with our eyes.

  • An interesting side note that Carl Sagan pointed out in his masterpiece 'The Pale Blue Dot.' is that when we look at the closest galaxy i.e M31 it's 2 million light years away, so we are seeing it as it was when the light from it set out on its long journey to earth-2 million years ago. Same goes with distant quasars.

  • The other way is called "mapped colour": you use filters that let only the light emitted by hydrogen, sulfur or oxygen atoms pass and attribute them a color on your computer. Your image wont be in true colours but will show the chemical composition of whatever your picture shows.

  • can someone answer me when i ask: Am I the only one who is very interested in space, but doesnt want to deal with all these bull-shit arguements? Focus less on why we were put here or why we are here, or how all this happened, and just take a moment to realize just how little we are, and how little we know about our universe.

  • No your definatly not the only one.

  • no buddy yur not the only one,,

  • I totally agree with you. When I think that it would take half a year travelling at 3991907 times speed of light just tu reach Andromeda galaxy, I'm amazed. And also the fact that there is still some stars that we can't see just because the light hasn't reached us because they are too far!!!

  • arguments are one of the only ways to see different ideas and come to a joint conclusion. (but i'm not saying that they shouldn't be a little more civilized)

  • @dante3440 You're not alone on that argument :)

  • @dante3440 Thats why we argue, in order to get the theory correct, scientists argue all the time, it's completely normal. So don't be a cry baby. if it wasn't for arguing we wouldn't have as much technology as we have today. War is also important for technology ;)

  • @lollipopbrigade you are fucking stupid.

that's what i really want to say.

But what i'm going to say is technology has NOTHING to do with arguing. People (not just scientists) have been inventing new technology since the dawn of time. Another thing, did he state he was crying anywhere in his comment?

Stay off of youtube little kid.

  • @omgWTFUWANT really know, thats a very ignorant thing of you to say. To me argueing is debating. Also in history some arguements turned to war. War provides technology. because if it wasn't for war. we would have no need to increase much technology at the rate we do today. Mabye you should stay off youtube. ;)

  • @dante3440 Welcome to the sitting face face with reality portion of your education. . Give me a call in twenty years and we can discuss your your relationship with mind.

  • @kayakbruce1

    ... what?

  • @dante3440 so what you are saying is, we needn't worry ourselves as to our origins...but insted focus on how insigificant we really are in the scope of the universe ? so basically we should just crawl under our rocks ? I think one the best ways to understand what has happened, is happeneing, and what will happen is to ponder and sicover our origins. The fact that you said YOU are the only one interested in space is rather offensive.

  • @MrSYSTEM20 I think that the most appropriate question for science is *how* we got here. The why question is better suited to philosophy, where they think they can derive meaningful answer based on essentially zero evidence. Cosmology is forensic in nature. We gather more and more evidence, and keep saying "OK. So if this true, then what must have happened before that to make it so?". Before asking "why", we should first ask if it is reasonable to expect that there *is* a "why" to our existence.

  • @MrSYSTEM20

No, what I am saying is wannabe bigots should just shut up and let the professionals do their work.

  • @dante3440 LOL..I certainly hope you are now implying I am a bigot based on our conversation.

  • @dante3440 I agree, that kind of solipsism has been holding us back as a species.

  • @dante3440 I agree.

  • @dante3440 People fight over these stupid arguments and do not realize: " We don't know because we are not supposed to know, and we will never know. "

  • Amazing pictures, makes me feel tiny and insignificant from the big picture.

  • certainly we are my friend.

  • Apollo 11 Buzz Aldrin at Tillmann Uhrmacher :DD

  • All these religious idiots around here make me ouke in disgust. Clearly no intelligent design around here.

  • pcu are you tellin me that you have the wisdom to create a star sir hunh!...I dare you to be an unintelligent designer got it hunh!

  • What do you mean? Just take enough Hydrogen. The rest happens just so.

  • Bullshit detected.

  • please stop at 11 seconds and explain the green color behind the AP...is that a certain gas or why is it green...i see red orange white blue...suns...

  • Hubble sees way more of the electromagnetic spectrum than we do, so these images are artificially coloured.

  • God does not exist in our dimension nor is he an entity in any form that we understand and therefore not bound buy our understanding of physics.. the bible does say that even the smartest humans will not be able to grasp the concepts of God and his existance

  • You speak of God and you attempt to quote the Bible. Yet you say the complete opposite of what the Bible teaches.

He made us in HIS image. He dwells within us. He came to us to save us. After Jesus went away the Holy Spirit came to be with us.

How does GOD not exist in our " dimension ". He is OMNIPRESENT. If you're going to bring up GOD bring His name up in a proper manner.

  • Absolutely breathtaking!

I must add that the ad for Wawa coffee plastered on the bottom of my screen while watching this somehow detracts from the beauty. Fucking YT! Hee.

  • I agree bi1iruben....video sucks!

  • Shame for all the effort of the scientists and technicians involed that AP manage to misname at 0:21 as "an array of stars" what are infact 5 galaxies of Stephan's Quintet (probably some hundreds of billions of stars in all) - might as well call that billion $ cost "a wad of dollar bills".

  • Then where did all that matter come from?

From energy, as it spontaneously creates quarks and anti-quarks.

Then where did all that energy come from?

Energy cannot be created or destroyed. It can only change form (e.g. chemical energy to thermal energy, sound energy)

  • a billion for photo shoppe style pictures.. this vid even included a "nasa video animation" surely to enhance the experience..LOL..wow.. sorry but they look sooo fake...whered the money go, really?

  • To finance that CIA moonbase on the dark side of the Moon, so we would have a defence against the Martians and Titanians.

    WHERE DO YOU THINK!?

  • Wow, those are so clear I can actually see an alien mother feeling lunch to her baby E.Ts. Looks like peanut butter and jam waffles again.

  • There should be one day out of a year where everyone stops what they are doing and just watch what's really going on up there and forget about religion and politics.

  • God exist no more simpler than the fact that i know i exist. God is a word but the matter behind the word is what makes it real to us. Even without knowing of the word God & Religion we still know something is greater and more powerful than us an its a strong enough pull to alter your reality.

  • nice

  • Hubble HD

  • Alright!

At least we got something for that billion dollars. Just think how much space stuff 23 trillion could do. Thats how much the banksters stole from us.

  • We would be eating space burgers and going to space bars. :p

  • yes, but were also paying 350million per day in iraq, so this is spare change compared to what were spending over there... we could give the troops a few days off and have several of these things...

  • Refreshed? You guys mean Refurbished. Puds.

  • This shows that God (or the laws of physics as we know them, if that's your liking) was the first great artist.

  • Laws of physics do not need to be defined as God. That is your own drive for order and familiarity talking.

  • I see the universe and basically all of creation within and without as a giant, unfathomably complex and artistic Rube Goldberg machine. Even the more chaotic parts (quantum physics) play a very specific part. And I see God as the one who created, set the rules for, and started the RB machine that we call the universe.

And the beautiful part is, each and every possibility is played out. Only that we experience one chain of universes, which -in our perspective- is guided by the hand of God.

  • Your so full of shit dude!!! Quit smoking weed..

  • You should get off the smack yourself.

  • What your brain is actually doing is attempting to piece in the missing items due to your fear of the unknown. Whether or not it's a beautiful thought or explanatory idea remains unimportant.

Beliefs are one thing. (Zeus threw down a lightning bolt and thus, created the Law of Gravity)

Rational beliefs are another. (The law of gravity exists.)

I respect your position though. It's not a detrimental outlook to have on your (and the reality you're in ('s?) ) existence. :)

  • Lol... Well put anmpir

  • A very good opinion to have. Thank you.

A good allegory for this situation is a large rock. A large boulder that no human or machine has moved, somewhere in the wilderness. If you ask a person from the medieval ages, they'll say "God put it there," while modern people will tell how glaciation carved it out and moved it. I see in such a rock the entire evolution from the Big Bang to the creation of the Earth to the moment the stone was moved there.

    ---cont.---

  • ---cont.---

That, I think, is more glorious than saying "God picked it up and placed it there." God works through the laws of physics (sometimes in very surprising ways), but He is not bound by them.

  • WELL WORTH MY TAX DOLLARS

  • lol

  • Cool!

  • beautiful
