You probably saw the edited version. There are two versions of this movie. The extended version (also called the international version) is 25 minutes longer. In the extended version of this movie the girl actually asks Leon to make love to her. And you can see them sleeping in the same bed together. And you see how she get's drunk after joining Leon on a hit and killing a drug-dealer. There definitely is some sexual tension in the original movie. They cut out those scenes.

awesome piece of film. i love the way the mood is completely woven via audio. Oldman's character is just crazy. Leon wears a blank face and doesn't really talk. The tactical unit officers are all wearing black masks. Yet, the score, the intermittent bullet firings followed by seemingly endless silence, and the complete change in confidence, rate, and inflection of the officer in charge at the scene............just terrific.

What's great about this film is that Leon is so humble, isn't a wanker trying to look like he just walked off a catwalk model runway, nor is he coming across as an egotistical arrogant wanker with an attitude. He is just Leon, a man of simple things, a good heart (when he needs to, such as with the girl) and a massive talent when it comes to being a Hitman.

Compare this movie today with all the other complete wankers such as Jason Stratham..etc.. as they run about with huge ego driven films.
