i was so happy when leland got killed off in the show. i just finished every episode. i haven't watched fire walk with me yet.. its on the way from netflix. i really wish there was a sequel and proper ending and i don't really feel like dealing with these characters that i was really happy to have dead and go back in time but i know its important because there is so much i still don't know about lauras death.

I loved the tv show but this movie was wonderfully boring and stupid. We didn't need prequel. No wonder it was a big Flop in the box office.. Even phenomenally brilliant Sheryl Lee's acting couldn't save this movie. And why the hell they ignored Sherilyn Fenn here? She was the most beautiful, charming and mysterious character in Twin Peaks.

Can't believe they are making Alien prequel. It will be another flop

By far the best trailer for a Lynch film. As good as his films are, most of the trailers for them are pretty lackluster, but this one is amazing. It perfectly captures the mood of the film without giving too much away.

Theres something about the text "FIRE WALK WITH ME" coming on screen in this trailer with that flame (?) sound. Not sure what it is, but its just perfect

What do you think the angel at the end means? That she was forgiven for her sin? And the angel disappearing from the canvass? That she was about to die? And, more important: what about the green ring? Was it just a bad omen? Tnx to who will answer ;)

All of those questions are very difficult to answer as Lynchian's offer up so many interpretations. I think the Angel in the final scene is symbolic of Laura's transformation after death - here she is cleansed of all sins, sins against her and is forgiving. As for the ring - earlier in the movie Dale warned her from inside the Lodge, not to take the ring. She DID take the ring, of course, and it cost her her life. BUT it stopped BOB from possessing her.

The Angel disappearing meant that Laura's house was completely under the control of evil.

The Angel at the end meant that Laura was wrong to think she was beyond grace, and that she got some kind of afterlife.
