192.168.1.1/globe is applicable only to Globe users in the Philippines. Different ISP's have different settings so you must know how to access the GUI of your modem. The most important thing is to CHANGE the MODULATION and find the One with the lowest latency

Different modem have different settings...Look for the brand of your modem and learn how to access the GUI. The important thing here is how to Change the MODULATION of the modem and find the best (one with lowest latency). Most modems have 192.168.1.1 by the way

Your ping is determined by your location and the internet provider. If you have a crappy internet provider, and you are connecting to a host (lets say a webhost) and the host lives right next to you, you might have about 300ms+ of ping. If you have a great internet provider, and the host is 50+miles away, it may take 300ms+ (Note: These are not to actual scale, it's just to give you an idea) Basically the better the provider & closer the host, faster your ping will be with them.
