Failed due to ID today (Oct 15, 2010)! Those having to go through ID route, REMEMBER: its safer to miss the destination than to miss a sign for an approaching roundabout WHILE driving at NSL (national speed limit).

Take it easy. its allowed to miss the target but nothing else (what a stupid test-criterion) !!!!!!!!!!!!!

In my opinion this would be a great idea to know about the person who is going for practical driving test that how can he handle his or hr car on road alone after pass the test. Though my test is on 8th of October.

Just dont follow the instructions. They wont fail you anyway. Go wher ever you want.

They will have to change this stupid idea... this can be tackled easily by "not remembering" instruction.

So if you fail to adhere to the changes you could still pass? What a waste of time. How about introducing some motorway time or country lane time where most of the young boy racers tend to kill themselves?

Motorway driving is done on driving lessons in Germany as well as the Practical Test. I know as my girlfriend and her family were shocked that us in the UK do not learn how to drive on the Motorway. It should be taught to drive on the Motorway BEFORE you get your licence.

@princesshotness The aim is to show that you can handle road and traffic conditions safely, while following a series of traffic signs or verbal directions. It doesn't matter if you don't remember every direction, or if you go the wrong way.
