  • OMG <3 HoN

  • I don't mean to sound like a jerk... but please work on your public speaking. Following this tutorial is difficult with all of the spluttering, hiccups/burps and stammering. Otherwise good tut :)

  • Great video!

  • Help! I got 50 questions about Indesign (Photoshop & illustrator too!) right now my Indesign homework is making a website and creating page links in that program. We have to create a advertising resume too. Anybody who has a high knowledge about these program who wouldn't mine helping a old 59 novice get some pointers email me. lol ezrabufford @ .com -thx

  • @ebufford ezrabufford @ yahoo .com lol

  • i find indesign to be such a primative program for editing i do agree it is great for text layouts but i still find photoshop easier. I mean on indesign it takes me 2 clicks to move a damn photo and if i dont do it right the photo gets cut off etc.... pisses me off so much

  • @CancorseTV1 InDesign is not meant for design, but for publishing and printing. You can make your design and cover in photoshop and then import it to InDesign as an image.

  • @MixyBoy thats what i do now :D but i have to use send my yearbook pages into the printing company in an indesign file format which suchs cause i cant really play with fonts or cut photo shapes out or else that companies system freaks out

  • Photoshop is great for editing and creating images. InDesign is much better at doing layouts. If you don't believe me, try to edit text in Photoshop.

  • i dont see the point in indesign and illustrator. photoshop is the undisputed king, these other 2 softwares are just its kids

  • @soaked9in9matter Actually Photoshop uses RASTER graphics - useful for many applications esp print and web, illustrator is important because it uses VECTOR graphics - which is extremely useful when you need to resize images without losing quality for screen printing, logo work, etc

  • very informative. thanks

  • FOCUS, Buddy! GUIDE people how to BEGIN to set things up for a document or book. The first 3 minutes are usless, Edit them out.

  • OMG i wanted to youtube how to use the program and i was like "this voice sounds familiar" -- then i heard old scona and was like "i know this person"

  • FUCK! I'm looking for one that isn't done on a Mac. Our school has Windows. And it really does look different. :/

  • @2cooler4youer exactly the same, except you have this awesome right mouse button.

if it looks different, its a different version or customised layout.

  • don't listen to them, they are supposed to be learning how to use this software. but be mindful of how you sound as you record. But helpful information thank you for the video.

  • talking is not your thing, right?

  • cn i use this 4 a utube bg

  • see this retarded boring article? well im gonna show you how to make it with a really disgusting voice.

  • why don't you just link the text boxes so that the overflow from box #1 automatically goes to box #2? that way you wouldn't have to use trial and error with copy/pasting. PLUS there's no hassle if you have to edit the text later

  • thanks so much it helped a lot!!!! :)

  • Thanks so much for this tutorial! I started using InDesign for the first time today, and this has really helped clear up some doubts i had. :)

  • how can make a letter head or business card in Adobe Indesign...

  • The tutor's voice sounds like a pre-stoner Kumar.

  • @democrat10 It's called middle eastern haha

  • @shortbusheros4

Kumar's Indian (-American). He doesn't speak with an accent in the movies (or in real life)...I meant that his voice and the narrator's voice here sound alike - literally.

  • @democrat10 LOL thats the name of my newspaper advisor!

  • @democrat10 It definitely does, haha. Nice call

  • @democrat10

    There's a "pre"-stoner Kumar?

  • Is it possible to have a space between the pages on the screen? It is very difficult to see where the edges are as they are so close together and I end up with bits from one page bleeding onto the next.

  • @happygamestvfun1 LMAO!!!!

  • Hi Guys,

Is Indesign a more preferred software tool than Quarkxpress?

    Cheers!

  • @Safeengineer No, many prefer Quarkxpress as well as Indesign. Many thinks that the most ppl uses Adobe and Macintosh, but many also uses Windows and Corel.. Or adobe ofc
