There's a difference between accepting who you are loving yourself, which is good, and being okay with a lifestyle that is dangerous to you health. Doctors bring it up because it's a life threatening being obese and most medical problems obese people have are due to their weight. Their doing their job. Being obese is like smoking. You're confusing the issue of trying to live up to an unattainable standard of beauty and actually being a burden on society with the problems that come with obesity.
