How is your supply of wood holding up for the stove? How much would you use in a average per day? Have you come up with any creative or interesting recipes besides eating pasta out of a jar :) ?
@yenoh42 - I'll need to make another run on the beach soon to collect some more. Difficult to say how much I use on average since the quality (wetness) of the wood varies so greatly. I've now started plating my pasta instead of sticking it in the jar. But yes, I have been making an effort to cook properly (potluck dinners help with this).
It Truly is the small things that matter...... i also have not skated since i was a kid bet that was a great feeling once again....stay warm....the very best to you..
Every time I watch your weekly updates, I am reminded to be grateful for the things around me and to stop complaining so much. Ice on the toilet seat? Man, I would have freaked out -- knowing me.
Pond skating ... that's cool. I learned to skate six years ago and love it.
The other things I realize about your current experience is how often your friends have your back. Flying in Sushi? You're a lucky man Masa!
@eyewearblogguy - As some British guys once sang, "I get by with a little help from my friends." I know that I'm doing better than just getting by and and that's thanks to my friends giving more than a little help. How to repay the universe? As the boys from Brooklyn will lay down: "It's called gratitude, and that's right." Stay warm in TO!
