I believe LAMP just refers to what the server has configured. Because remember there are many different flavors of Linux.there is CENT OS, Ubuntu, and a bunch of others. But maybe there is a package that contains eveything you need. I've never seen it though.

I think showing us your face in the beginning was kind of awkward and not really vital. Next time, just start talking while we see the screen and open up a website we can visit and have a few pictures if you want your face to be seen.
@Captnuendo If you're using a rotuer, you don't necessarily need to use a static IP. Most modern routers support DynamicDNS right in the router which means that the DynDns client will update the web to your changing ip address.
You could do this quicker and easier by downloading the Ubuntu server install rather than the desktop. Server 8.04 gives you a prompt to install LAMP + OpenSSH in the installation. However it will be CLI rather than GUI as a trade off.
You should probably list all of the things that the user will need to install in the More Info section, since you didn't have enough time to list them properly.
Good video, but what kind of self respecting IT specialist uses a Mac?

It's only fair that as someone who is teaching to advertise themselves as an IT proffessional.
Think about it; the idea of being technical on the internet is to make money. I think his actions were a vital step in marketing his skills.
????
Profit.

Captnuendo 2 years ago
I am not quite sure how you have a wireless router behind your modem. But you need to at least have a static ip address.
