Oh come on did that language sound like swedish? NO! And swedes are also always so tanned..n___n' there are few hints that those are not swedish, also that this is xylitol commercial!
And finns are like someone said 80% europeans, rest is some weird asian thing i guess...
I know nothing about how Swedish or Finnish sounds. It is not like any of those cultures have bleed well into the culture here in West Texas. Germans have strongly impacted Texas as a "white" ethnic group. I know there are more, but you never of towns named after something Swedish or Finnish or Russian or Japanese. So how am I supposed to know or have any idea. And why would most Americans know what Xylitol is? Listen: I dig culture; I learned something.from this CM.
@joeXmaspunk Wow i really didn't think that you would answer me:o It's just stupid that you guys always think that blond=swedish since we have more blonds in finland and other nordics+estonia are "blondcountries" too..And I thought that since swedish is germanic language like english you would recognize that that's not germanic language but i was wrong..You guys don't know what is xylitol? well okey..:----o I didin't mean to be mean, thank's for uploading this, it's funny!:)
ok....this might be a complete longshot but does anyone have any clue as to what the song might be? i have a feeling it was not made for the commercial and is just a clip from some finnish choir singing something. anyone have any idea? or can anyone kinda translate the few words that are audible? thanks
But like said, that is only a rough translation, as laiho/crop for example is usually not used when you speaks, as it's an old word that is used mostly in poetry nowadays. So yeah :)
Wikipedia says that the highest densitys of blue eyes and blode hair is in Finland and Estonia, in some towns exceeding 80% of the population. haha, I got them too, The downside is that I cant go to the beach without seven layers of ultrareflective sunscreen! argh..
Aww, so much hate from my compatriots! I'm ashamed to be a finn at times like this :( this person actually went as far as writing all that stuff in the description... an american person would never have even changed it :)
Was there "hate" implied? Where? Me? Or part of the posted comments?
I am glad to add all that info. It tells a story, I think. I am tired of all the lazy work I see around YouTube. And By-the-way, I am American... and Texan!
By hate I meant the negative attitude some commenters seemed to have... and I'm amazed that you're Texan! People from the US rarely want to find out things about the outside world (my american friends actually agree with me). So keep up the good work! And in case you didn't know yet, the japanese have put finns into this commercial because that chewing gum has xylitol instead of ordinary sugar. Xylitol is a finnish invention, and often used in chewing gums because it is healthy for the teeth.
Juu, älä käsitä väärin, oon senverran kansallismielinen että useimmat kaverit pitää lahtarina :D Meinasinkin juuri sitä, kuinka monilla suomalaisilla varsinkin netissä tuntuu olevan melko ikävä asenne, ja sillon kyllä hävettää. Mutta suomalaisuuttani en ikinä mihinkään vaihtais :)
Wow. I really wish I knew what you were saying. As a rule I delete anything that I cannot understand in fear that anyone might say something R-rated. But as I see this is a Japanese/Finnish CM, I think I will let this stay.
Hey, wouldnt that kinda policy lead you to deleting the video itself too, since there is a finnish song on the backround and the rest is in japanese? :/ haha
Did you not see my description? Maybe after some education, I should have taken it out. But I do not think I will. Read the post from the start. People get schooled... including me.
according to ACC(All Japan Television Commercial Confederation) this commercial film was actually shot in Finland. Anyways,XYLITOL is harm to dogs so don't feed them to your dog. By the way,Moomin is also famouse Finish anime. It was so popular in Japan in 70's.
Xylitol is a finnish invention. Almost every bubblebum that is made in finland contains xylitol.
That my be the reason they "use finland"
And what comes to the sale title "This is a good product, its from finland" Well, easy stuff. Xylitol is proven to be very good for your teeth, and its from Finland :)
Do they really say,"This is a good product, its from finland." If you are quoting me you need to quote me "'like this.'" Sorry, I am kinda o grammer nut about quoting after that Stephen Ambrose thing.
Anyway, thanks for the info. I thought xylitol was a band name and not an element in a mixture or compound.

When you're talking about cross-breeding, 80-90% of the Finnish blood is "European". The rest is Uralic weirdo shaman blood.

"Arvon mekin ansaitsemme" by Jaakko Juteini.
Classic 19th century choir piece.
First hit is the lyrics if you Google with the song title.
JanoTuotanto 3 years ago 2
Finnish lyrics in that part are:
"Laiho kasvaa kyntäjälle
Arvo työnsä täyttäjälle"
In English that would be roughly:
"Crop grows for ploughman
Respect (grows) for worker who does his work"
But like said, that is only a rough translation, as laiho/crop for example is usually not used when you speaks, as it's an old word that is used mostly in poetry nowadays. So yeah :)

actually, my dad (who is 50% Swede in ancestry) says that the Finns are even more blonde and pale than the Swedes (white-yellow hair).
Finland reminds me of Maine or Minnesota (Which is probably why most Americans of Finnish descent live in those exact places)

Don't worry. There's no profanities. They were just discussing how they hate that some finns in internet has so shameful attitude.
"monilla suomalaisilla varsinkin netissä tuntuu olevan melko ikävä asenne, ja sillon kyllä hävettää"
"many finns especially in internet seems to have quite nasty attitude, and that makes me ashamed."
But nice vid tho. I find it rather amusing.
Personally tho, I don't like xylitol, it tastes like... somthing that rhymes with brit.

Example - in 50 years there was a claimed studie that all blondes will be extinct 2150.. Can you see the pattern?

"uses Finland"? So it is made in Finland, and Xylitol is Finnish product popular in Japan, and as part of a marketing campain, they say, "This is a good product. It's from Finland."
Explain.

Actually they are finnish. because
1) They look like finnish
2) The music on back is finnish
3) Lotte uses finland. Since..well..xylitol=finland
