In our local schoold district, there are very good support systems to help students like me.

The man said "we have problems in the schools now. And one of the reasons we have such grave problems IS THAT THERE IS SO MUCH FOCUS ON ACADEMICS".

Too much focus on academics? IN SCHOOL? Did he really say that? Do we want this man leading the conversation on educating our children?

I think Mr. Yarrow needs to stick to "Puff The Magic Dragon" and leave the really deep thinking (i.e. education policy) for those who spend at least SOME of their time in reality.

For most of his career he has done countless great deeds for the good of everybody.
