FPVRC is pretty freaking awesome. Wish I had a couple grand to blow or for that matter just a couple hundred to outfit my Nitro car. Really though it misses 90% of the fun if you don't have a head-tracking camera and goggles, because that's most of the immersive value right there.

And are people really so lazy that they'd rather wait for an explanation in youtube comments rather than go to one of the hundreds of sites on the subject to figure how its done? :P

However, I also saw someone flying under a bridge on a public motorway, where air currents could quite easily make the best pilot have less control than they think they have. If that model went through a truck windscreen, I hope that it isn't me or my loved ones that get tangled up in that accident.

Those that this footage inspires may feel that this sort of location is OK for FPV

But of course I have a lot of videos where the location is not OK for FPV (especially the skyscraper stunts) ;-)

Of course accidents can happen but I try to minimize the risk- the plane weighs only 915g, is made of foam and the airscrew is at the back

If you're saying they can't do anything about fliers outside of AMA fields, that's true, we have rights. Does that make it ok? No, or course not.

It just saddens me when I see flying that politicians can latch onto as a reason to take away our flying privileges. AMA is fighting for us, so we should fly in a way that will ensure future generations the freedom to fly RC.
