  • @RabekaJo I actually meant make your own food rather than buying boxed processed crap. I explained that in the first comment that you deleted.

If you believe in god, you should believe that your body is a temple. A beautiful creation that demands respect. Are you being kind to your body? You don't even have to read the label to know how awful it is for you. A quick glance at the length of it is all it takes.

  • @Animacondo I do believe in God...I don't know how2cook...plus I lack motivation2cook/fix anything anyway...due2all the happenings in my life...if u watch my other vlogs u wouldn't blame me4lacking motivation & being depressed...I am as kind2my body as I can be...quick fixed meals on my part being pop it in the microwave/pop it in the toaster&I have my meal ready...get me some healthy ones of those&I will eat whatever health foods they offer...I didn't delete any comment did I? I dont recall

  • @Animacondo I didn't delete anything hun, but yes I agree its all bad for us, but I seriously have gotten asked what I was doing because I was taking so long to shop. This allergy stuff is a thing of my past now I am cured so I don't have to worry about nothing anymore I eat what I want or like and I do plan to eat healthier just have to get my depression under control and I think I have the right set of pills for 1st time in my life...have a nice life dear, sorry if I did delete but I never do

  • @Animacondo Well I never delete unless it hurts my feelings or attacks me in some way...so if you came all attacking at me I might have deleted your comment...I agree my body is a temple but Jesus came and saved me from the life the old Testament claims for us to do...I am saved through the Son of God Jesus Christ...I am working on things, its just taking time...and I have had set backs again watch a few videos of mine and you will see my discouragement and reason for being depressed...thanks

  • Don't rely on big business to spoon-feed you.

  • @Animacondo ha! true...but seriously I don't have time to read those labels and the people who do get asked to leave the store because the workers think they are stealing things...so it is their best interest to list all allergens in a quick to read sentence to save lives....though now I am laughing also because I am Healed of all my food allergens by the Grace of God I am Healed! so ya don't have to worry about this part of my life no more

  • @RabekaJo I spend 3 times as long at the store so I can read labels. NO ONE has ever asked me what I was doing or tried to kick me out. Not only have I never been asked to leave, but when I ask an employee about allergens they are ALWAYS happy to help me. Never trust those labels because a lot of things can mean soy that won't be listed (vitamin e, xanthan gum, glycerin, citric acid, etc.).

  • @kellynolan82 hey sorry i didn't reply. youtube wouldn't let me so i got a new account. i am allergic to soy as well. have you gone to this new website its fairly new (released last week). It has some good ideas on living without soy. drop in a note to the team on the site as to how it is, food suggestions, or how it could be improved. it originated in australia but expanded to the US and canada last week.

  • you should ALWAYS checkingredients.ow the heck do yo knowwhether it has what you need to avoid otherwise. how silly 2 dependon the allergen list. Esp. snce tht particular ingredient "soybean oil" agrees with some people with reactions to soy.why would a company advertise the product contains soy in the allergens if it mightn't?it is foolish to only attention to the allergen statement and not the ingredient list. you can never be sure, and vice versa,. TOUGH, GET USED TO IT. how silly are you?

  • @kellynolan82 sorry was logged in as my husband without realizing it until I posted...but ya...I have a long list and most extreme are not required by FDA to have labeled as being a factory that manufactures these items...I have to pay attention to the allergen statements of being manufactured cause I still react to things with even the slightest chance of cross contamination...but as I said vitamins are helping this and I am doing better havn't reacted like this in a long time (knock on wood)

  • @kellynolan82 hey I was new to allergies...and plus if you paid attention I was in the store with two kids running around and it was hard to sit there and read through the entire list...and yes I am silly...cause I ended up allergic to more than just soy...I haven't updated my list on youtube yet...but I will someday...Vitamin D3 and Fish oil has made the difference....I now can eat what I want and have minimal reaction though there are a few I can't even tolerate at the slightest

  • @RabekaJo how did kraft respond to you when you complained, out of curiosity?

  • @kellynolan82 they sent me coupons to buy other kraft stuff for basically free but the easy mac started effecting me and they reassured me that their new pizza blended cheese was on an entirely different line so there was no possible way the tomatoes could of gotten in the plain cheese...but I know my allergies something is definitely different...I lived on easy mac for several months and had no problems and then all of the sudden ya effecting me...so ya I updated my video its up now you go see

  • @RabekaJo thanks for the new video. it was informative.

when it comes to soy oil and soy lecithin, how does the testing work? would you know if any soy protein residue is in it? from what i hear medical journals say that it does not contain any protein (testing to 1partpermillion). have tests ever detected soy in these two ingredients? i'd be curious as to how correct this is. i know people who react to all soy ingred.. or are some people more sensitive to soythan testing methods reveal?

  • @kellynolan82 I am highly sensitive to soy...either that or there is some ingredients in foods that are labeled containing NO SOY....cause technically I am allergic to everything...some things more so than others...I am allergic to Chocolate...if I die from my allergies I pray its Chocolate cause death by Chocolate sounds noble lol...the testing is needle with the allergen and they poke on the back or arm..on me it swelled to measure 4++ (they measure the redness with a special ruler)

  • @kellynolan82 now with the testing of foods 2see if there is any soy protein in a food I have no idea how that works...I just know they can collect the food you react to and run tests the levels of soy and yes FDA totally screwed it up saying manufacturers don't have to list soy if its a certain minimal amount traced in the food...I hate that...I chew gum that has soy lecithin in it...I am in the ER later that nite...same with I eat something thats manufactured in a factory that produces soy ER

  • @kellynolan82 it just depends on the person I think on the severity of the reaction and FDA don't think the minimum bothers most allergy suffers...but I beg to differ...and beg for my life later in the ER...though its been since I uploaded this video we r talking on since I been to the ER due to my allergies (Knock on wood) but figuring out I was allergic to the benadryl was most helpful to prevent my visits to the ER lol something about treating allergies and adding to them not a good mix lol

  • RabekaJo, Good heaven, you poor thing. I believe that the devil created SOY. I have had it a number of times, and cannot stand it. TAKE EM BACK!

I sorry about any negative rating, I don't know how that happened. I am still in trouble with that leaf blowing FAN club.

    Get WELL!

  • Thanks and yes Devil's food...I also found out I am allergic to many other foods...so its not just soy now...I havn't updated on that list of foods yet but I will soon :-) thanks for the smile :-)

  • I had a swollen tongue last week because of an ulcer not allergy. Did you take benadryl?

I don't know if this is an option for you, but I just had an idea. When you see a product in the coupon section, go to the website and do a Ctrl+F search for soy in the ingredients. This would be easier than trying to read the packaging in the store with the boys around.

  • Agree about the look online for ingredients before even going to the store...that could take hours too so eitherway this is going to take a long time to figure out stuff...ttyl

  • and yes I had taken benadryl ended up in the ER later that night cause it wasn't helping...they gave me pepsid and M version of the P steroid forget the technical names...anyway...they gave it in shot form...instant nearly to solving the problem...so anyway I took a vitamin today and didn't think it could have soy so out of shits and grins I looked...and yep soy...so I went and threw up many times to try to stop it...and took benadryl and pepsid and I am fine...ttyl

  • Soy sucks. It's killing me with heart problems and gastritis. It's used in spaghetti sauces instead of olive oil, in chocolate, in meat, in chicken, in soda, candy like Reeses Pieces etc. And now in ice cream all purpose poison. Soy is main culprit in most bad foods. It's in all fast foods.

    Soy is Frankenfood.

  • This I am finding out its in EVERYTHING I LOVE....I am trying to gain weight take away the fatty foods what do I have left? NOTHING! I am going to remain losing weight for the rest of my life cause of SOY Damn it man I hate this!

  • @kellynolan82 yes I know I too am trying to gain weight and all the fatty foods I love have it in it...but Vitamin D3 and Fish oil have helped minimize my reactions to food....which I am technically allergic to EVERYTHING from a 1+ reaction on up to a 4++ like with soy thats one of the majors...if I spread myself out I tend to do better and react less...so just a little at a time introducing the allergens back into my diet has been what I been doing...update video coming soon I promise....

  • That sucks I am lucky enough not to have any food allegiance but I am allergic to cat fur, pollen, mold and dirt but it does not bother me much anymore for some reason. Only thing I get really is dry or watery eyes and maybe a runny noise (Usually when at work).

  • yep I am allergic to mutt dogs and pecans evidently ontop of soy but never had this reaction with pecans cause butter pecans is my favorite icecream lol

  • swollen tongues suck.. and ive tried tose bagelfuls things... i didnt like those.

  • yes yes they do...I liked them I went back for a second one after having my first...shouldn't have cause I wouldn't of been so swollen probably...had I not indulged lol oh well you live you learn...
