what i can tell you is that all the racers over here at norwalk always eat bananas, helps from cramping up...and yea i can tell you was on the stop still probably had the 8.90 delay in it we run 1.130 in our box and cut very good lights
I hear you complaining alot about your hands and muscles hurting...why drive such a cramped car? Maybe a door car would be better suited for you in your condition. Good vid though...shows people what really happens during a run. Why the sad burnout?
Nice video! Quick question how did you mount your camera or video camera on the cage? Is it a permanent mount or did you just do it for the race? Thanks alot,Steve.
I mounted the camera between the roll cage uprights (just ahead of my right shoulder). I is not a permanent mount but I have the parts to mount it back in 15-20 minutes. I pluged in a lavalier remote mic in my helmet. Glad you liked it.
Because he does not want to go out first round LOL! You always leave on the top bulb and use delay to fine tune it. Then you use cross talk on the delay box and leave on the top bulb when you race a slower car. Bracket racing is cut throat, everyone can cut a light. You race off the bottom bulb in Pro ET when you do not have electronics. Super Pro with all the electronics every uses is whole different animal than Pro ET or even heads up race type categories.
Thanks. I usally race the season in Div 7 super comp and super comp race clubs. I was testing for a bracket race the next day. I thought about leaving on last bulb but thought I would anticipate it too much. I did get some 015 and 020 lights the next day and got into the 3rd round.
I Race Junior Dragsters Over in australia and it is heaps fun! That also looks like fun!!! And i tottaly agree the day u stop being nervous is the day u crash. Kewl love to see more of u
Thanks. I just put my motor and tranny back in the car after having them rebuilt. I'll be talking the car to Phoenix and Tuscon for the two NHRA Division 7 races in Supercomp.
Running a Scott Shaffirof 540 w/ dart heads (13:1 ratio)and Holley Dominator 1100 cfm carb controlled by a Dedenbear CO2 Throtle stop and CC3 command center timer.
Thanks. I had put the camera mount on the car to show my chassis builder some vibration problems I was experiencing on the front end. We since solved the problem with a front wing to give some downforce for stability. Glad you enjoyed it.

Why not just stage shallow and let go the transbrake on the last light rather than trying to setup delays etc?
I run 7.8s 177mph in a 180in street car and find it much more consistant that way and normally cut real good lights.
Great vid though, well done.

Yes, I let go the transbrake button on the top bulb, but the 1.15 seconds I had in the delay was too quick. Yes it was fun. Glad you enjoyed it.
