In 2005 at their last headline show on their american tour in Las Vegas, They decided to just keep playing after the set list and at one point started taking requests, to which many (I among them) screamed for Milk, Shirley was so drunk at this point she forgot the lyrics lol, by the end of the show she gave everyone a heartfelt and tearful goodbye. One of the most memorable shows I have ever been to.

I definitely see that. I have a weakness for sad songs so I tend to interpret even the happiest ones into something dark...this was already a dark song to begin with, for me.
