I've had to put down my AMSTAFF because our politicians imposed a ban on 13 dog breeds .. including Pitbulls .. it was the worst day of my life .. they introduced the ban because the media described them as "dangerous" and "out of control killing machines" .. 8 of the banned breeds are only found in very few numbers, if any .. for example's. Turkish Kangal, Pitbulls, Dogo Argentino, Toza Ino, ect. I sincerely hope that you will never experience a ban

My mom use to own 2 pitbulls and they use to sleep in my bed with me. (at the time i was 10) they never did anything to hurt either me or siblings. It depends on the owner not the breed. A friend of mine had to get ride of her poodle because the owner before her made the dog mean!! any dog can be dangerous.
