Although this is a very good video, my comments are actually relating to some of the comments listed here. For goodness sake what's with all the negative and weak comments about feeling suicidal or depressed. How very disturbing. To think the best of the family I must assume they are ignorant of the facts of HIV/AIDS. Now, because of their cruel behavior they will lead their family member to commit suicide unnecessarily. That's the tragedy here. The lack of compassion is the tragedy. Not that that young man got infected with a horrible disease that is a world pandemic.

What an incredibly sad situation. It was uplifting to see that the elderly mother and the children were the accepting ones, a case of the children teaching their parents!

Now if the HIV case is willing to realize their mistake (homosexuality), then this case presented here is wrong, but if that guy is not phased and continues to be gay, he deserves it.
I don't like the example of the young kid's "disinterest in playing with girls" this whole nature VS nurture argument doesn't retain essence - it's human nature to get angry, but does that justify wars and the aftermath of anger? you know it's wrong and it hurts others, HIV is lurking, just a matter of when.

First, unlike "wars" and "anger", one's sexual preference does not "hurt others". Second, whether the sexual orientation is genetic or otherwise it is still a preference. So far we can conclude that homosexuality is a preference that does not hurt anyone. Now tell me if the same is true for your preferred beliefs?

First-
The movie making was indeed powerful, plays on any human's senses and emotions, you have to be dead, not to react to this short doco, nice choice of script and the metaphor of the plastic plate is brilliant, touche'! A in film-making....but again an F for misleading and masking the issues, if there was a grade lower than an F it qualifies for it - the message is presented diabolically, obviuosly the film's director is pro-gay...it's not about HIV only

It was awkward and difficult to watch.. a testiment to how resounding and powerful this film was on me.
It's a shame to see this sort of thing, even if they were all actors. In this age of acceptance (for the mostpart) in the Western world, we still have discrimmination of the like on our planet and even within our own homes.

It's a fact: HIV/AIDS is a curse sent by God to punish the non-monogamous and adulterous, and their children. If anyone has actually read the Bible, they would see that the said curses are written very clearly.

This moved me to tears. My heart really goes out to homosexuals and those who suffer from AIDS.
Sadly, AIDS has become synonymous with homosexuality and I hope people see the fact that it is very much a disease shared by heterosexuals too.
