Amazing and considering it's JUST a B-side of their's! could of easily been fitted on their debut i reckon! The begining from 0:29 up to 0:46 sound's so much like a Cocteau Twin's track even better! 9/10
The Delays one of my favorite bands. My friends don't understand it and I can understand their confusion. They haven't heard any of their songs. They flat-out disagree when I say that they at least as good as the Foo Fighters, and the Foo Fighters are a freaking amazing band!
I know exactly what you mean. They're impossible to describe because their music is so rich - vocally, musically, lyrically. I can't believe how few people seem to know about them; they're a band where it takes just one listen to make everything ok, to get you excited about life, happy just to be lucky enough to be hearing that single song... And yeah, I probably am just as obsessed. And they are lovely. :)
Perfect description - it epitomises my feelings towards Delays completely. Seriously incredible and underrated band. Quiet is one of my favourites, and the fact that they can use a song as magnificent as this as a b-side sums up just how amazing this band are. Lyrics are gorgeous too - especially 'caress the porch in whispered tones, we don't have long to be alone...'

I totally agree, they are great as a band and as persons, Greg's a really nice guy, I'm eagerly waiting for the release of a compilation of b-sides cause these songs deserve to be known and enjoyed by more.
