@Tokopol If you don't understand what I meant by that, you're really not very clever. Certainly not intelligent enough for me to enter into a serious discussion with you.
David we know you are doing the best you can for England. Sad to see so
many ungrateful jerks that don't understand the meaning of Patriotism. All they can do is take not give back to their country in time of need. We wish you the very best for all your efforts to turn England around. You have your hands full. Good luck and thanks for taking this job on for the good of England.
@gtgale1 that's a terrible thing to say. giving to a country is metaphorical, subject to conflicting interpretations, be specific or don't make such a sweeping statement. i think of it as more of a mentality rather than an actual function
and the prime minister will not be reading youtube comments
The biggest trouble Labours got themselves in is electing Ed Miliband over David Miliband to be their leader. Mr. Cameron should be grateful for this huge fortune, no matter how big his mistakes are, he can still be in office as long as Ed leads the opposition.
I'm from the US and ever since I learned a little more about the parliamentary system this past year through some college courses I have been attracted to that form of government. I've seen portions of this exchange on the Charlie Rose show and I was both entertained and astonished at how cohesive British politics is compared to American politics. In America, politicians go out of their way not to associate with the opposition, here, they directly face one another and argue their points.
Cameron could apologise for his very existence and kill himself live during PMQ and Tories would still say it was his best performance ever and that he made 'Red Ed' look stupid.
Miliband is an inherently weak leader of the oppposition. There's obviously something highly questionable in the Couleron connection, but Cameron still managed to win this exchange. Annoying.
The only Prime minister not to attend a debate on which all sides of the house are united, most bizarre. What has he got to hide or was he at home shredding and deleting ?
ahhh its so difficult for there to be an effective opposition to the government, the default defense is always "well you did it too" same with the lord ashcroft saga, its so easy to evade any questions regarding contemporary political practice.
I think this was Mr. Cameron's best PMQ ever. He did a really good job. Mr. Cameron was excelent at PMQ and in the statement on the inquiry. Red-Ed had a chance to do harm but he failed it. What a surprise.. Or not.
@AnnikaTory What are you actually watching. David Cameron has looked a complete muppet throughout this seedy saga. Always on the back foot. Missing from the debate. Did he have a nice afternoon nap? I think he looks 'tired'.
@Lizk100 I watched Mr. Cameron's statement about phone hacking. Many Back Benchers (78 persons) asked questions and Mr. Cameron gave answers to them. 78 questions. Why he should have attend that debate? He told all he knew. Mr. Cameron does a very good job, and you have to admit it. Sometimes the truth hurts you.
@AnnikaTory Unfortunately what is missing is "the truth", sadly we have a lot of "I didn't knows" and " not my responsibilty".He has yet to tell us the full truth about Andy Coulson.
@AnnikaTory It looks as though all that Murdoch press that you suckup has cleared your mind of common sense. Milliband has kicked Camerons ass on this and more importantly he has saved the uk from a complete Murdoch takeover. Cameron is up to his neck with this stuff. Where did he eat his christmas dinner?
@sugarraygras Do you think you are funny? Red-Ed is a weak leader. Do you remember Ed's man Tom Baldwin? Or Damian McBride? You really think that Mr. Miliband is innocent? Red-Ed does many mistakes all the time and he isn't innocent at all.
@AnnikaTory Yes I am funny, thanks. Red ED rules Camerons fat ass. Coalition is on its last legs. Everyone who I know who voted for Cameron have regretted it since. Milliband is the next Primeminister of this country and is the only leader with the balls to take on corruption. Cameron is a good debater and or liar, but he is a shit leader for this country, history will prove me right. Also you should know a TORY is a welsh word for sheep thieves, are you proud of this.
@sugarraygras Watch out in the coming 3/4 weeks to see how deep the divisions go between the wishy washy Lib Dems & the Tories. Clegg has the power to cause maximum trouble on the Tories, by bringing the coalition down, whilst dramatically boosting his own parties’ image. He could be paraded as the man who saved the NHS & the leader who stood up to Cameron with regards to his serious lapses of judgment on Coulson - who in all probability will face the courts. Watch this space.
@AnnikaTory That was probabl;y the worst PMQ's Cameron has ever faced. He was shaking, he was nervous, he looked looked forlorn & beaten. His own side are not happy with him at all right now. Peter Oborne who is very close to senior right wing Ministers are saying as much. The knives are sharpening right now & I foresee major problems ahead for Dave. Especially if this hacking scandal deepens.
@NOTWPhoneHacking I'm sorry, but the shaking man is Mr. Miliband. Mr. Cameron did a really good job at PMQ. You can do whatever you want if you want to show to people that Mr. Miliband is a good leader. Your only problem is this: he isn't a good leader. It's funny to see that you have a channel about phone hacking, but you aren't neutral and objective.
@AnnikaTory Where can you see me discussing Mr Miliband? Your post has the trend of a rant. A right wing rant. Try with someone else, because I ain't interested.
*You may have seen when I spoke about "the knives are sharpening right now & I foresee major problems ahead for Dave. Especially if this hacking scandal deepens.* - that is in fact 100% correct.
Only tomorrow (Wednesday) Dave has been summoned to appear in front of the 1922 committee.
@AnnikaTory & no. I am not objective where Cameron is concerned.
Does that extend to all Tories? No. There are many decent Tories.
However on Cameron, I believe he is up to his neck in shit on this scandal, along with his pal Andy coulson. I also believe as each day goes past, Camerons position is looking ever more precarious.
Are Blair & Brown exempt from critisisms? No. Have I ever suggested they should be? No. So kindly shove the "you aren't neutral and objective" bollocks up your arse.
@AnnikaTory Wake up!!! caMORON is a 'good leader'? He got 10m votes on a manifesto that was a complete lie, a month before the global meltdown he was demanding LESS regulation on the banks. that is NOT democracy. Any future leader should have to resign for that. We are watching Arab kids dying for transparency. WHY was CoulSon Not vetted at the level he should have been. What did he promise Murdoch?
Now being 'tough' fools less and less and why has our economy stopped growing? FUCKING USELESS
@NOTWPhoneHacking. Cameron does look awful. Miliband looks like a wimp. Just like in the USA, it appears the UK has no leadership. Although Farage and Godfrey Bloom show promise. Maybe Daniel Hannen too.
Cameron's breaking a sweat, there!
