When I connect the xbox 360 drum set, the xbox light will turn on and almost immediately turn off. After that I check to see if its recognized by the 360 controller driver, junXion, or GamePad Companion and no luck
Im having the same problem as a lot of other people in this commentary. I have installed the software twice, on two different macs but the software is still not connecting with the plugged in drums. The Xbox button on the drumset is blinking rather then the firm light you would expect. Everyone is talking about this problems in forums on the Internet but does any one got a fix for it?
I downloaded all of the software and I open the 360 controllers on my system preferences and it says that no device is found. My drums are connected. What is wrong?
really easy and easy to follow tutorial, but for some reason, the drumset doesn't register on either drives.... :S i installed them both correctly, but all that happens when i plug in the drumset is the xbox connecter light thingy flashes once.... HELP ME!
my computer (10.5.8 osx) isnt recognize the drum even after i installed both softwares... any help would be greatly appreciated.. yes i installed both correctly and restarted
I was looking through some of the source code; sadly the creator hasn't released source code for the newest two versions (0.08 and 0.09) but I think the problem is the product id for certain models like the standalone package with just the drums is different. It might be as easy as adding the product id for that model but I'm not sure...
@dbuvid I have the same issues. Does anyone know a solution? Could it be a newer version of the drum kit? Seems like this problem only started being posted about for people in the past few months... Any Ideas?
When I plug my drums into the USB the lights flash on quick and then right back off. It shows up in System Profiler as "Harmonix Drum Kit for Xbox 360" I have the 360 controller driver installed correctly as well. I'm running Snow Leopard but I heard this still works in it. Any suggestions on what I should try?
I've got both drivers installed on my mac. In the xbox 360 driver panel, the wireless controller can't be detected. Can the set-up only be done with a wired controller? Thanks.
There may be a problem trying this with the new portable drum kits for 360 from Harmonix; I can't get GamePad Companion or the XBox Controller driver to find them when I plug the controller into the Mac's USB port. Any ideas?
It shows up as a Control Preference Pane - You find those under System Preferences. Click on the Apple in the top left corner and select System Preferences - then you should see it if you installed it.
There will be latency based on the buffer i/o settings in logic, if those are fairly low it should be pretty good (usable). One note the first time you start to use the Caps Lock keyboard in Logic it will be slow if you press play or record it will suddenly get much better - the same thing with Garageband with the musical typing - it seems to be wondering if you are serious about using this to record and straightens out.
How do i use the drums with garage band? I can't get them to come up when i open garage band. I downloaded both programs and set up the buttons and everything. What do i do to get the drums in garage band?
i dont understand what the hell these people are talking about when they post these types of things and i dont know shit about software or technology in general
Jesus' so called "hidden years" is a period of time is when he went into "hiding." Jesus was considered the greatest man who ever lived. During the period that Jesus lived in he had a period of about 10-20 years of time that no one heard about or knows about, except for me. When Jesus wasn't being written about or followed around he was spending time reflect on his stinky feces.
During this period Jesus went back to work as a poor carpenter so that he can fund your moms breast implant BIATCH!!
If you search around there is a similar driver for XP, and most people are using it with Fruity Loops. But you could use whatever sequencer; Reason, Cakewalk, etc.
Does this work with the PS3 drum kit?
