  • Best thing to do while blares out on the radio? Clip down the Don Valley Parkway @ about 100kmh...

  • @dataghost196 wow, living on the edge eh? 100km/hr

  • @awesome7163 If you only knew that the DVP was also known at various times of day as the Don Valley Parkinglot then you'd understand why 100kmh would be a big deal...

  • @dataghost196 Don Valley Parkinglot. Yeah, all those people trying to get home to "Asiancourt." Hey, remember the Huber Hump? I did that fucker at about a buck 40 once. Daaaaamn.

  • @TheRantingCabbie Ouch...buck 40? Were you suddenly airbourne?

  • @dataghost196 I think my back wheels caught air a little bit. Then I thought "nope, aint doing that again."

  • @w1ll10

    Indeed.... great tune

  • 80s was the best decade ever.

  • @celebiboy123 no m8 the 70es

  • @celebiboy123 Despite John Lennon's assassination, for me, the first half of the 80's was a pretty cool and fun time. However, the second half was just too "slick", big-haired and musically- conservative for me. Give me the late70's/early 80's (even the mid-60's) anyday.

  • @crapple009 True.True.

  • @crapple009 the late eighties was a preview of the future, this future, nothing has really changed since the late eighties in music

  • wow , quel souvenirs ! nous sortions du disco avec nos pantalons jaunes serins en satin

  • Excellent Saxamaphone playing!! ♥♥♥

  • This has a similar vibe to Love is a Battlefield. I prefer this frankly.

  • @Parnic46 Far away in time, is my guess.

  • If you like this, you might like

    Odett Van az a pillanat

  • H f s played this in dc...good old days

  • @goats7000 so true(im 14)

  • @BossmanSmeg bored of hearing old old people are. hey im 12 and i love chuck barry!! no one cares

  • Cancun mate! Cheers Russ, thanks for the memories buddy.

  • The sax will be easy to recreate, just make friends with a decent sax player! :D

  • One of my all time favourites...

  • @goats7000 I seriously don't care how old you are mate.

  • @Galfadez it had to be said.

  • Cars is far superior.

  • Listen to this choon at full VOLUME!!!! One of the best 80s tracks EVER!!!!! LOVES IT - ECHO BEACH ALL THE WAY!!!!!!! :D

  • Thank god for being able to record 4 live tracks... or else the saxaphone would be a bitch :/

  • @MikeyyBoy94 actually, you're only allowed to record 3 live tracks. sorry :/

  • music tech guys... you do know you can do use up to 3 audio tracks!! so I'm doing this song and recording the sax solo!! ;) couldn't really be arsed with all the synth editing and stuff that would have been needed for Cars!!

  • gosto muito...

  • fuck this Im doing cars

  • for any guitarist watching this: A0, B1, B0 G0, B3, G0 B3 G0 D0 G0 B0, A0, B1, B0 G0, B3, G0 B3 G0 D0 G0 G0. . . . yOU'RE WELCOME :)

  • @blahwoozle gah thank you.

  • i heard a cover of this song a few years ago acoustic style with male vocals, anyone know of any good covers?

  • quite glad my music tech teacher knows someone who has this guitar part nailed :)

  • well basically I'm stumped a to which song I want to do.

The tempo in cars seems to be all over the place (much more so than in this track) however the Sax solo in this is bound to cause a great deal of hastle.

  • gunna smash A2 music tech with this song!

  • @Bradderio SAME! :D

  • I love how all Year 13 Music Tech students have descended on this XD This would be easier than cars because it's more Organic?

  • @PatrickJaneFan cars is out of time with itself.

  • @ClockworkFacility1 I don't quite understand what that means...

  • im 12 and i just turned 12 and i got a bunch of money for my birthday but this song is so much better than any other song my friends listen to they listen to crappy music

  • think gary numan will be easier..? thoughts? guitar could be hard.. not to mention the sax solo

  • @fralexjames our music tech class have all agreed we're doing cars because of the insane sax solo in echo beach! there is more technology needed in cars, but echo beach will be harder to get a sound close enough to the original

  • bring on the music tech A2 students!!!

  • aussie aussie aussie.. oi oi oi

  • Thumbs up if this is better than Colourless Colour

  • @swimminglad100 you are so right haha

  • @Mauvegroove Thank God it's not La Roux again!

  • @joejoesatchimo that sax solo is going to be a biiiitch

  • chooooooon - thanks Jack FM for bringin' this back into my life ahaha

  • Four simple letters describe this song. Those letters are; "E-P-I-C." ;D

  • Riffs and hooks that was essence of the 80's, why you ask ?

Because it makes you feel frickin fantastic.

  • @huubie1 impossible!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Where is Echo Beach?

  • One of Canada's best early-mid new wave offerings, this tune still rocks 30 years later

  • lol I was the bass player in a band that covered this song...this was the only song that i used to pelvic thrust all the way through...it just has the greatest groove to it. Also our mediocre guitarist could paly this song so perfectly, it was great fun.
