@heartofmusic27 Rabbit marks the spot was that Rabbit had enough of his friends playing pirates in his garden, so he draws a fake map that he claims was made by his great-great-great uncle and the greatest pirate ever, Long John Cottontail.
And the story for Goodbye Mr Pooh is that Tigger spreads a rumor that Pooh is leaving the Hundred Acre Wood and everyone throws a good bye party for him, of course he only leaves for a second and comes back. But Eeyore is now living in his home.
@taiamon Hardly true, I've been following animation since the 80s and can say with perfect honesty with no silly bias to the cartoons that forged my childhood that cartoons these days are pretty solid stuff. Avatar, Phineas and Ferb, Ben 10, Generator Rex, Adventures Time, all of those are awesome
The late 80s through the early 2000s have come to be thought of as a "2nd Golden Age" of animation (the 1st was from the 30s-- 50s). What characterized this era was a sudden explosion in creative freedom and shows that had the chance to be imaginative as opposed to the restrictions that kept things so bland and dull in the 60s and 70s. Unfortunately, while there are still some good shows, we're in another decline right now, though for different reasons.
@xXHuckleberryFinnXx I gave all of my old Pooh VHS tapes to my niece and I wish I still had them, hahaha. She really loves them though. I'm glad to pass on quality, classic entertainment to the next generation.
Dude I swear I fucking loved this show so damn much. It makes me feel so good just listening to it. Me and Sister would stay up until the wee hours on summer mornings just to catch it coming on when stupid Disnet Channel moved it to 3:00am. That just shows how dedicated we were to that stuff with fluff bear ^_^
those cartoons back then were all about emotion and feeling even the music was amazing and epic, cartoons of today are all about cheap laughs and most of the time are stupid even the music of today has gone downhill I wish somone would invent a time machine :p
@Grafezzy dont worry, the next generation of cartooning will be the generation that grew up with shows like this, therefore we may move out of this decline. music on the other hand, people going into that industry will most likely stick to watever is mainstream so there's little hope of a comeback.
@Sariface18 I definitely believe in the movie one :) the music one? I also believe they'll fix those up too :) i don't care how popular they are, ill always love the oldies musics that i grew up with ^_^ i believe in them both ^_^
@CaptainVodka3 Have you read the last chapter of "The House at Pooh Corner" by A.A. Milne (he's the original author of Winnie the Pooh)? The scene depicted with Christopher Robins and Pooh up on a hill underneath a tree is based off of that last chapter where something extremely sad happens.
@VentusUnbirth Spoiler: He tells Pooh about all the great things he wants to do. Pooh's response is basically "oh that's wonderful, I can't wait for all that to happen". Christopher Robin tries to tell Pooh though that he's planning to live rest of his life without him, but chokes onthis and instead asks Pooh to promise him to never forget him, and wait for him at this tree even if it's for 100 years. Pooh asks how old he'd be then, which Christopher Robin replies, "a 100 minus one day".
@sebbef can you or anyone tell me how the new adventures of winnie the pooh ended.. i'm referring to the very last episode... i can't recall i saw that... i remember the ending to the classic episodes that follow the book very well.... were christopher robin had this bittersweet conversation with pooh.... but i can't remember any ending for the new adventures.. can some1 tell me how it ended???
This would always come on disney channel early in the morning. I remember waking up for elementry school and turning on my tv and this would be on. Memories.. :)))
That song was so awesome And still is. I just saw the new trailer for the movie and ever time it came on I always thought of this song. I can't wait for the movie.......I'm 18 and still LOVE that silly ol bear :)
@AmishParadise27 its a gay show where douchebags act like they're italian. Basically they're getting paid for having the common knowledge of a 4th grader.
for me the closing credits of each and every episode is just as memorial as everything else, even the opening, not to say the rest were forgetful. This is the first thing that comes to mind when I think of Winnie The Pooh.
@ThePackbleed man get outta here youre still a kid there's nothing wrong with you watching this. im damn near 21 and still watch hella stuff from when i was your age.

WOW!!! This makes me tear up!!! I remember watching this show as a child with my Mom before having to leave for school in the morning. Whenever the closing theme would come on I knew it was time for my Mom to walk me to school. Shes still living but this song reminds me of her so much. Its amazing seeing things like this and thinking back to when you were a child. TRULY Nostalgic!!! Thanks for posting!!!!!!!
I don't know why but I found myself humming this song today. Then I watched this video and I knew almost all the words. It's been 15 years since I saw this show!
As Pooh would say "oh bother!"
(btw - this ending is just incredible. Thanks for posting it!)
Such a nice heartwarming ending to a wonderful show. I sure hope Disney has the heart to release this entire series on DVD some day.

warning, dont read this unless you want to destroy your childhood
memories of winnie the pooh.
how to have good memories: think of winnie the pooh when he talks to all his friends.
how to RAPE YOUR CHILDHOOD: think that this is actually grown upp people that make there voices and NOT animals.
you have now destroyed your childhood.

Winnie The Pooh.
A great franchise if ever there was. And, the movies and TV programs were the best part about it.

I'm not ashamed to say I used to watch and love this show as a little kid. Thanks for the upload, Eva.

I wonder why American shows almost never credit their animators.

Winnie the Pooh was and always will be, my favorite Disney franchise EVER. And looking back to his origins, well it's quite amazing where he is now.

In all the new series of Winnie, whatever happens to Christopher Robin, he seems fade away and being replaced by new characters from Disney.

I don't know why but I found myself humming this song today. Then I watched this video and I knew almost all the words. It's been 15 years since I saw this show!
As Pooh would say "oh bother!"
(btw - this ending is just incredible. Thanks for posting it!)
