also, if the dog didn't like it, classical conditioning would take place. the pug would see the laser (the controlled stimulus), and would be scared of running into the wall/door/whatever (the controlled reaction). They're not retarded, you know.

I have 4 (including a pug) and belive me, the way they play with each other is much more violent than this. My pug LOVES laser lights too! I just wish I had thought of pug bowling!
