Wow watch consumers reports review you'll get a totally different view of this vehicle. It actually would go on 3 wheels during evasive driving. Not very sporty. and I've seen range rovers stuck in snow while my old 92 cutlass never had a problem, so for an even sportier version of their SUVS it's not any more of an off road vehicle then a normal crossover.It does look nice though.

And some people say that the door mirrors are too big, but thats a good thing. The x6 is rubbish. Its rubbish off road, uncofortable on road. 4 more on the x6 watch the top gear review on the x6.

UK pints are bigger by 20%. The pint is 1/8of a gallon and as the UK gallons is bigger the pint is bigger as well. The US fluid oz is bigger tho.

I must be the demo RR was targeting because I bought one on the spot. Perfect combo of on/off road performance. Maybe not an incredible off roader but a very credible one. Great turn in on twisty roads (no understeer), easy at the gas pump, fun to drive etc. The Meridian audio system isn't talked about in most reviews but should be. Simply the best stock audio system available in any car period & it blows most upgraded systems away. The upgrade (800 watts) is in a class of it's own. Thank you!

im cufused how does this get 57 mpg in 2 wheel drive option, when the same motor turbo 4 in the ford edge does 30 mpg in the exploer does 28 mpg & in this model evoque does 28 mpg on there website specs, so how could this ever do or in what option trim could this ever do 57 mpg, any ideas anyone. @ag72 It's the UK 2.2L 150hp diesel in the one he is speaking about. The US version only has the 240hp turbo 4.

@ag72 escaport is right, also american fuel is different to the jungle juice we get in europe so our fuel economy figures come out higher, our fuels much more refined and has higher octane ratings, but yank fuel is sooo much cheaper, so its a good trade off either way.

I've seen it yesterday in person and it looks great. It was white which looks even better (great contrast between dark windows and white frame). As for the offroad capability, i've seen Evoque on Top Gear and from the looks of it, the computer off road system does a marvelous job.

I hope improved versions come with a larger rear window. Having such a narrow window with poor visibility can't have any advantage. I don't see how a larger rear window will diminish it's slick design. Range Rover designers please take note.

the range rover brand is more of a luxury brand, where as the land rover name is used for the more off road rugged version for the off road enthusiasts. what the freelander is to land rover is what the evoque is to range rover. besides it uses the freelander engine.
