Seriously - what's the purpose od establishing ground power AFTER you start up APU? APU is made to make you fully autonomical before starting up the engines. Ground power is used when you run on batteries only.
@stolendeamon if there isn't any config manager (because i forgot lol) you start with fs2004 / fsx default plane (anyone but it must be a default one) the you start a flight, shut off engines, battery, avionics then save flight, check "select this flight as default" & normally it's done
I love Boeing so much! the 737, 747, 757, 767 and the 777! I used to like Airbus, but I don't like fly-by wire.

@Gnato666 i sometimes have 3 min before APU starts, and sometimes (even with default aircrafts) APU suddently stops..tha's why
