  • Very nice car ; As I had written to you before, I don't think you have any benefits with that air intake. The only you can see is by timing your 0-60 with original setup and with your after market one. Personally, I 've put the K+N in the original air box. Cheers and keep your car, was only made 2 years diesel with this body !

  • Thats not a cool air intake, thats a VERY HOT AIR intake.

  • I think it would've been wiser to use a K&N filter that fits in the original airfilter box

  • the air intake isn't the restriction on these old diesels... it's the injection pump.

  • bet that actuall made a good lil difference on there huh? We own a few mercedes and one of their weakpoints is their intakes

  • Please put back stock, that small ass ebay filter isn't helping! MB engineers spent alot of time and troubling getting good amount of air into that diesel!

  • I really have to agree with zech007; it is a hotter air intake then the stock one. You would probably be better with the stock one with a k&n air filter. Very nice car by the way.

  • Nice hot air intake, and Nice W116

  • Technically, that is not a cold air intake, not even close to cool air, its A HOT AIR INTAKE, look whats wrong with the intake, its right above the exhaust manifold and its sucking up heat instead of cool air, so really having a stock air intake is the true cold intake because its taking air from the outside, instead of the closed compartment. BTW nice W116
