  • I just got this today. I'm in love with it

  • Oakland!!!

  • i wont be getting this it looks like it makes yor skin look really dull

  • I love this foundation and I do it with a brush and it covers all my flaws. I wouldn`t spray like they recommand because you are wastinng too much product.

  • Hi , I just wanted to say that my uncles wife gave me this foundation spray from dior but I dont spray it like you did hahah , i spray at first my forhead and then blend it with my fingers , then I spray it on my right cheek and blend ith aain with my fingers and then on the left cheek and blend and it gives me a flawless look and it looks very pretty !

  • BRUSH APPLICATION WAY BETTER! I think spraying it directly from the can wastes so much product it goes all over the air gets on the hair line its a crazy mess DIOR needs to rethink that advertisement lol

  • BRUSH APPLICATION WAY BETTER!

  • @tricy16smiles airflash can last u anywhere from 3 months it just depends on how much u use, but with Dior foundations a little bit goes a long way. Lightest shade is 200

  • I work at a Dior counter. Airflash is my fav product for the face. I don't think u lose product by spraying it u just have to know how to use it if u want to spray straight from bottle. I apply it by spraying product on brush think it gives a better finish that way

  • Thats not your color.

  • @MiaVitaBella ya don't say.

  • @MakeupByRisa yeah, I am saying. I am not trying to be rude. So don't get all defensive.

  • @MiaVitaBella lol i wasnt being defensive or rude. I was indeed being saracastic though. Because I'm pretty certain I mentioned that in the video. Though I could be wrong as I recorded it a long time ago. The company sent it to me so I had no control over the color.

  • The artist on the Dior website puts in on with a finger and it goes on flawless.

  • I've never understood aerosol foundation. You loose a lot of product like that and it gets all over the place.

  • A product definitely not for the faint of heart...or busy morning schedule!

  • hey =) i just had a few questions about this product. 1. do you know how long it lasts? im not sure because some reviews say it lasts 3 weeks some say it lasted more than 2 months. 2. how light is there lightest shade? I am a pretty fair person and i dont want my face to look darker than my neck. thank you!! =)

  • yikes. spray directly onto your kabuki or 187 and then buff it on. it's sheer to medium because it is so liquidy. that's your best bet in application

  • haha this foundation is not your color at all

  • diorskin airflash is obviously good but

DOES ANYONE KNOW A BRAND THATS JUST AS GOOD/BETTER AND CHEAPER???????

  • @dbsk06 there aren't any good ones because airbrushing is an expensive tool. this is aerosol so it's not quite the same as professional airbrushing but it's the next best thing and the cheapest way. there are some cheaper companies that tried to come out with airbrush aerosols but they suck.

  • i got to try this foundation out on a makeup appointment and this foundation did work on me because it did cover and I didn't look like a cake and it felt very light like I didn't have anything on. I liked it :)

  • I think perhaps I would use a sponge brush. 1" in diameter

  • do you reccomend for oily or dry skin?

    thanks for video! :)

  • I spray it on, and LOVE it. I apply concealer first, cover my hair, and spray :) It looks amazing, and my skind REALLY looks air brushed.

  • VERY helpful! Thanks :)

  • When you use any spray foundations from bottles/cans, they should be applied with a make up sponge. This product works flawlessly if applied that way and there's no product in you hair, yet you still get the same air brushed effect. I absolutely love the coverage and finish this product gives. Hope this helps.

  • usually i use it for touch ups rather than my main foundation.

    try that :]

  • Great video! I love this product! What shade are you using here? I have a yellow undertone and was wondering if it's the one i have. Thanks!:)

  • seems like you get the stuff in your hair that way too :S

  • I spray it on and then while it's still wet I smudge it all over for an even coverage. I Love dior airspray because it's very light and doesn't give you that heavy foundation feeling... idk if u guys know what I mean... but I posted a video response where u see me ussing it and it works great for me. But I'm still young and thank the heavens I don't have lots of pigment so I barely need high coverage. :)

  • That doesn't seem like it was a very well thought out product... All that that landed on your hair and I am sure it's on your shirt.... hmm.... I don't know...

  • i like it with a brush =]

  • Great review. Thanks Risa. :-) x

  • I don't know if I would like how when you spray it over your face it gets in your hair. The brush application was better.

  • what colour did u use??

and what price was it cause

here it 55euro just wont to

see if u should wait n buy it in the states

  • I like it. I'd try it if I didn't already have a bizillion other foundations at work, at home, in my bag. yeah.

  • Great review, i'd been wondering about that stuff (:

  • ***brush sorry I have some issues with english jejeje

  • I saw the different in the 1rs application!!! But I think is better with a little help of the blush...good review!!! =P

  • Thank you for the review!

  • Very interesting. I've always wondered about that stuff. Doesn't seem worth it. There's plenty of good liquid foundations. Thanks!

  • I only use airflash with a classic foundation brush if i want it as my main coverage or i put it on a really thick big kabuki and buff it over my regular foundation for an air brushed look i dont really like to spray it on because I have to use a bib and put paper towels on my head which is just too much preparation for my makeup routine :D

  • theres another brand of spray foundation called era face thats really good.. and it comes with a wrap to cover your hair and a big puff thing to like pat it with after you spray it on. my mom used to buy it for me when i was a teenager and needed a lot of coverage, it is like 55 dollars so i couldnt buy it myself at the time, but it really covered everything and its great for people with acne.. you dont have to rub the bacteria around.

  • Comment removed

  • thats what she did if you watched the whole video..

  • when i did use this product i loved it but just became to expensive to buy all the time.

  • Do you know anything about the lasting power? thanks!

  • maybe you have to spray and then blend with a brush, I would use like a 187.

  • I did that in the video lol

  • Yeah, I realized that right after I wrote the comment. sorry, lol.

  • @MakeupByRisa I think they meant spray it on your face and then blend it with a brush after.

  • Its funny that you can really see a diff. The side that only got sprayed, looks very like......floridian grama got fried by the rays too many times....Other side looks..normal.nice. lol. Brush side looks better.

  • the face part done with the brush looks better IMO

  • You see a tiny bit of difference after the first spray. I don't like spray foundations cause(what we also see in the vid) your hairline gets the same color and foundation on, same as your eyelids, brows and lips.

  • Girl, you are loosing foundation by spraying it...I think it cost to much to apply by spraying directly on to the face.

  • i like the side that you applied with the brush better

  • I see a difference, after a minute or so - I really like it actually!

  • I actually like this foundation but because of the price i only use it on special occassions. I apply it with my MAC 190 brush. I usually spray it on my face but after reading some of the comments below i think i'm going to try spraying on my hand or my brush because i dont like the fact that it gets all over the place.

  • the point of having it in that form is just because the spray actually creates a certain type of consistency. I used in on a sponge and it worked great.

  • It looks pretty on u ^^

  • i don't like it due to the fact that it went all over your hair...but i have to admit that i liked it more when you applied it with your brush..and that,to my mind, begs the question why shoud i even bother to buy a spray and still have to apply it with my brush like my regular foundation???personally,i woulden buy it..saves no time or effort

  • PartI: I own this foundation. This isn't bad spray foundation (that dries to a powder finish), definitely gives a flawless finish, if applied correctly. I wouldn't recommend to spray it directly on the face, as it covers everything, including your hairline, brows, eyelashes, which you need to wipe away every single time, which is rather annoying. To avoid all this hassle, spray it on a damp sponge or a foundation brush instead and then apply it and blend it on the face.

  • PartII: The coverage of this foundations is buildable to full. As for the wear, I think it wears ok, but for the price, I wouldn't bother, it's quite comparable to other cheaper high-end foundations.

So, it's too expensive, and on top of everything, the color choices are limited to find the right shade. Won't repurchase.

  • A cheaper "airbrush" foundation that is very similar in both coverage and application (I apply mine with a brush as well) is Sally Hansen's Airbrush Foundation. Carmindy uses it. It doesn't work that well with people with yellowish undertones to their skin because the lighter shades have a great deal of yellow already in it but I would love to see your thoughts on it. I think most CVS's and Ulta carries it for $13.

  • I actually love it but not the price. I use it for nights out. What I tend to do is use a normal light foundation for problem areas and then a light spray of this. It has never looked cakey and does last very long. I just make sure that its even by using a large foundation brush.

  • heyyyyy i was thinking about your great makeup and how you do your things like no one.... how about a futuristic makeuppp like the jetsons! before halloween one look inspired by the future

  • Well, it certainly gave good coverage to your hair!

  • LMAO very true!

  • Thank you for fair review. I have the same opinion.

  • To: leccah

Mini heart attack.. hahaha, so sweet.

  • Most reviews are done with the person using the product then coming here and telling us. i like that we got a complete live first impression review. nice job

  • My skin is very sensitive and I am guessing it contains fragrances? I have very persistant adult moderate acne. I am reading the book the Beauty Bible by Paula Begoun

  • When I went to buy my Lancôme Foundation, the women tried to sell me the DiorSkin AirFlash, I'm kinda glad a didn't buy it... It seems kinda complicated, but it does give a nice glow.

  • It seems like a lot of work to spray it on and brush looked better too mee! ^^

  • I dont know if you watch what not to wear..but the makeup artist always uses a spray foundation. the way she does it she sprays it on a sponge then applies it and it does give a natural kind of look so i dont really think its the fact that its a spray but more the formula of the foundation that gives you an airburshed look.? I dont know im not a makeup artisit but i thought I would throw that out there...lol :))

  • yes, that tis true

  • You look so good without foundation on it's amazing :)

This is a pretty interesting product though - I guess it looks natural in a light coverage and it's a product that won't carry bacteria around, :)

  • ugh i would not want to bother with something that gets in my hair! Looks nice but I'm not sure if it's worth it.

By the way, Risa, your skin looks practically perfect without foundation :)

  • Its the bright lighting and freckles that act as camo ;) Trust and believe my skin has turned on me this week and is far from perfect!! Thank you though :)

  • for me i think spray on foundation will get in ya hairline, i think im going to try it

  • it looks with the brush method

  • Ouch-- looked it up, and this stuff is $60! For a so-so review, that's not worth it at all. Heck, I don't even think I'd pay that if it got an absolutely stellar review!

  • Lols that is expensive, it's probably a bit of a gimmick. In Australia Mac foundation costs the same as Revlon colourstay! Both are in the $40-$50 range XD. Makeup gets expensive!

  • The more popular a brand, the higher the mark up is. Think about it. MAC gives employees a 60% discount and unless they changed it, when I worked there we were allowed to spend $2000 a year on makeup ($2000 AFTER the discount - which is like $5000 retail) AND they still make a profit. It costs them like 18 cents to make a lipstick. Granted they make HUGE batches (bulk is cheaper) - but still the mark up is ginormous!

  • geez! that's insane! wow $5000 on makeup i think I just had a mini heart attack.

Well MAC should feel bad, so should every company. At work Soft drink on tap costs 15c and we charge $3.50 for staright or $3.80 for a mix like Lemon Lime and Bitters. The world is insane and everyone needs to make money :). I don't mind so much - I do ALOT of research and buy lots of things from America and online once I have researched the cons and pros. I sound so boring!

  • naw not boring. smart.

  • :armasmutantur - Agreed!

  • nice idea but too much trouble..and you would have to protect whatever your wearng...

  • At 3:23 I could see the difference and that u had on some makeup. I have Sally Hansen's airbrush makeup (spray can) and that one too is pretty sheer as well, but I like the way it feels.

  • I really like this foundation, but you really need a brush....the shade i have is a little too pink for me, but i set it with studio fix and it's all right.

  • Thanks Risa!!!

  • It's gay make up!

only for those who always wear wigs and have to draw in their eyebrows. lol, j/k.

But seriously though, your cons are the exact same reasons i don't get the point of spray foundation. it sounds like such a good idea till the execution comes into play.

  • Thanks for reviewing this product. I doubt that I would buy something that gets into my hair (black girls do not think that's cute). I usually apply spray foundations on a sponge and then apply. It does give a better coverage that way. I like what Nickylus said about spraying it over foundation to keep it in place.

Keep up the amazing work Risa, LOVE YOU!!

  • i have this too...i actually have the colletion for it from a while back in the summer it came w/ a concealer and blush...i love it i have gotten it twice...also it works better if u do a Z shape when u spray it...it works on me..im happy w it..xoxo

  • ugghhh im sorry i dont like it

some of the product is on ur hair !!!

hummm waste of money honey :(

  • foundations and concealers don't work for me. they all crease into my lines.

  • lol I saw this and was going to ask you if you tried mineral makeup. Have you tried the new stuff from avon?

  • I really like the finish and the coverage! I would say your skin looks flawless but your skin always looks nice so I assume you have good skin anyway. I think the spray technique would be fun cause thats not normally how we apply our foundation so something different is always fun. I don't think I would like it getting in my hair either but you could always wrap your hair in a towel like you do when you get out of the shower and that would help prevent the over-spray into your hair.

  • wow you make great reviews! well done

  • i tried this at the store and all the workers applied it on with a brush to give it more coverage. It looks great from far but close up it's a little cakey and heavy, but it's still pretty good as far as coverage.

  • I have this and I love it, I have large pores and I love the coverage. I personally spray it into my Huge Dior buffing brush and it works perfect and its not messy that way!! I have been using it for about a year... I just bought the Temptu from sephora, and I love that too, but Dior is good too.

  • I don't love the spray's trend, because I feel it needs too many stages to look good. I tried this at the store near my house and had to touch up spots that seemed "blank" or patchy. The foundation on itself is wonderful, but the spray isn't accurate, and just like happened to you - flied all over your hair. No one wants to bother that much with foundation, if you have to clean after it, or touch the placing up. It's a good formula, not a good concept.

  • i have thisss i LOVE IT~

  • best review ever

  • I see a difference! you have some in your hair after you first applied it.

  • I like foundation in my hairline and under my brows for a really complete look. thanks for the review.

  • huh that whole Z, W thing is very very odd. well from what i've seen :P like when i've seen "pros" do it i've seen them spray on a sponge and then apply it. huh :) different methods :D

  • i did use this foundation before...it worked awsome for me i think u r spraying it too far..if you spray it close by you will actually get Full college...the reasons why i stopped using it: couldnt find the exact shade for me it was either too yellow or too pink for me + the $60 price threw me away..you dont have to put powder over it coz it dries into a powdery finish whish i love...

  • Risa's Riview and your comment really is pushing me to want to try it lol..... I was wondering if it ever gets messy?

  • i LOVE airflash ... as a setting powder lol ... a light spray over another foundation looks really really flawless and keeps everything in place

  • omg it went in your hair! lol

  • love that stuff

  • LOVE YER VIDS

  • Oh cool. I was wondering about this. Thanks!

  • Thanks for reviewing!

  • thanks!
