The only reason I think Russell is better is because if he played on that Chicago team,(this is only an assumption) the guy would thrive. If he got to shoot as much as Rose, he'd pile up the stats. No more isolations for Durant and Russell would be the go to guy in the 4th quarter. At the worst, Westbrook is just as good as Rose.

The Bulls record this year without Derrick Rose is a testament to that. Noah is more of a defensive presence and Boozer didn't do too much when he came back either. If you compare LeBron to Rose you can tell who has done more this season to show who is the best candidate for MVP, obviously Rose who took CHI to the #1 seed. And because D. Rose is humble and "has the heart of a champ" isn't why he's the most deserved its because of what he has accomplished. He went from 20 ppg to 25 and has also improved his 3pt% and no he is not inconsistant.
