It's so true about the Canadian TV show content. So many of the TV shows coming are set a hundred years ago in Prince Edward Island and based on books by Lucy Maud Montgomery. Road to Avonlea, Emily of New Moon, Anne of Green Gables, Anne of Green Gables the miniseries, etc. It's nice that we have a modern day relatable show too.

Quitting "at the top of your game" has a negative side: It limits your available rerun episodes. So, it's easier to get tired of the reruns. I wish there were more.

agreed but in the end 107 episodes and 6 seasons as a successful TV show made in Canada is much much more then we usually get

Rouleau SK reminds me of Elrose Hanley Punnichy and Nokomis SK. They all had a cafe with booths where we congregated on a regular basis 'where everyone knows your name'. Ironically and sadly enough though, Corner Gas does not air in Chicago!

However, what we see on our cable accessed WGN is not what is actually airing in Chicago...I'm a Chicago native and currently reside in K.C...Corner Gas is on here almost everynight at 11p (never miss it!) but when I tried recruiting my friends in family back home to watch it, I was disappointed to here they couldn't even locate it on the channel guide! Strange! I'm buying everyone season 1 for Xmas!! LOL!
