  • This is actually Kingsway Telephone Exchange, [31-33 High Holborn] situated in a deep-level tunnel under Chancery Lane Tube Station. There is an entrance in Furnival Street. The Cold War 'Hot Line' between Washington DC and Moscow was routed through this exchange.

  • @brianartillery ye that door wat she said they could not film on is furnival street lol found it on google earth

  • @osker450 If you're really interested in secret tunnels, [or at least their surface entrances], then check out the door at the bottom of The Duke Of York's steps. This door is in the outside of the ICA, but not connected to it. The door is presumably an access point for the tunnels which run under the Mall. The door is not far from the Admiralty building. Another point of access is from a Telecom building in Craigs Court, a cul-de-sac off Whitehall. There is a lift into the tunnels.

  • @brianartillery these tunnels do interest me if i had the money i would buy this lol

  • John Islip st=ordinary street.

  • Firing range? There's only one type of person who carries a gun around London and that type of person don't pay to get into no firing range.

  • its weird i was working here just the other week ;). seriously,

  • @TeeKayGee92 Have the tunnels been purchased?

  • My taxes paid for that so I own part of it!

  • @sharpdeath so your over 70 years old?

  • I'm thinking a massive game of lazer quest in the dark!

  • Put all the hoodies and chavs in there and throw away the key.

  • How about, we put all the MPs in it, knock a part of the wall out and let the Thames fill it up. Hey Presto, no more crooks in a position of power! just a water polution issue!

  • that would take too long and different crooks would take their places, which would be a total waste of a perfectly good disused tunnel.

  • yea ok a shooting range, in England, i highly doubt that

  • we could use it as a fireing rage and a homeless shelter kill two birds with one stone

  • You doubt a shooting range in England? Why?

  • shooting range-tunnel.... obvious flaw?

  • Wow!

  • Agreed

This is clearly the left wing of the bat cave

  • I agree turn this in to a CLUB!

  • wouldn't work due to fire risk - which is why it's all still up for sale. they are very impractical spaces which were designed for their original purpose and nothing else.

    If anything, secure storage.

So someone with a spare 4-5 million quid who wants to open a secure storage facility.... dragons den anyone?

  • Lets open a superclub

  • INNIT, that'd be phat!

  • cool video girl :)

  • Yea right... MI6, What's That???

    Get Real People!

It's the back entrance to the BAT CAVE...

  • Lol'd

  • how about usin it for the homeless...a firing range?...typical

  • Thanks a lot my friend:)
