The problem is price. Unless they truly have to charge this much for eggs, I sincerely doubt they will ever over excel the standard commercialized eggs which I consume for price saving reasons.
All creatures have a right to live the way they were meant to live and slaughtered humanely. This concentration style death camp for animals is where we get most of our meat and these death camp practices should be banned immediately on the grounds of inhumane treatment of animals and a danger to public health. It's like government has become more degenerate and inhumane by accepting this as "good".
There is another aspect of the chicken nor mentioned here. Where does the chicken come from. The field? No, it was the forest. Now perhaps we should think more in terms of rearing chickens in a forest garden for an optimum of happiness for the bird and all that goes with it. PERMACULTURE
@pondman27 I like your thinking, my free range hens are on lucurne and can wander in the gum trees, the grass is green not like the dead ground of these chikens, poor things.
These truly are a completely different level of perfection. I've been buying strictly organic eggs for some time - and they are superior to others, yes. But these eggs? It is not a boast to claim they are the world's best - not at all.
FAR superior in quality and size. And the yolks? AMAZING flavor and texture. You will not regret the expense, I promise - and esp if you're making a custard or pastry cream. Mmmmm....
I always buy these Jeremiah Cunningham eggs and they are great! I have had 3 eggs with double yolks from one carton! I had never seen a double yolked egg before I bought these eggs. I hear its a sign of good luck to get a double yolker. I also hear that only really healthy chickens lay double yolked eggs. Try these and support local Texas small farms!! Run the chicken torturing plants like Tyson and others out of business.
I sell thousands of eggs just from spring to late fall and I can say there are more people up here in the northern part of minnesota who are willing to buy pasture raised eggs from hens that free range than the ones you see in the store. I dont charge to much extra though I charge about 2 bucks a dozen. The chicks I incubate though I sell for around 2 to 2.75 per chick as that does take a little more to accomplish. I love that this info is finally getting out.....Thanks sooo much.
so glad to see this information getting out to the public! it's vital that folks know about both the horrendous living conditions of animals raised under industrial 'farming' and the negative health impact on the humans that eat of or from these creatures. Eat local and organic; visit the farms where your food comes from and see for yourself the conditions under which it is produced.
What are the brand of these eggs called and are they only available in Whole foods?

Excuse me but the "organic' feed they are getting is Monsanto's GMO
corn. Genetic drift??? Non GMO corn is almost extinct. Besides, ground up corn is not a natural diet for chickens, or for that matter anything.

Boycot the other systems and stimulate this system by buying the best. Create the market, let the evil ones bite the dust!

We recently completed a feature-length documentary, Mad City Chickens, on urban people who keeps chickens in their backyards.
We included an interview with the editor-in-chief of Mother Earth News covering the amazing results of their pastured egg study.
