  • =.=

  • Those rubber tracks are a very good idea ! I hope you will not kill me (joking) if I borrow your idea, well only if i get enough money to buy parts :D

  • @n33niki I don't usually kill people. Please use my ideas, that's what they're for! I'd love to see what you come up with.

  • hebt gij die helikopter ook zelf gemaakt

  • cann i buy it

  • at first i thought you built an actual flying lego helicopter.

  • Where you inspired by any existing vehicle like DT Vityaz?

  • @Ralphie89 My main source of inspiration was the Bandvagn 206.

  • so lemme get this striaght. On top of that thing being so awesome, it was transported with a real working helicopter o_0

  • awesome music selection. such a nice mood it transmits to your video.

  • There are also instructions on this model

  • how did you come up with your logo? also do you think i should be known online mostly as TTK or TheTechnicKiwi?

(i couldn't find a better place to post this comment.)

  • 0:53 Impressive.

  • ok now your just facerubin

  • Your videos are ever wonderful, this expecially, so, wich software do you use for editing? Do you think I could do similar things with Adobe premier elements 8? (If I'll find a way to use it with this inadapt graphic card).

  • @egolegoque I use an old version of adobe premiere, so it seems like your premiere should do fine.

  • sounds like pokemon video game music

  • how much do u wnt 4 it

  • 0:50 to 1:00 Awesome hill climbing!

  • how many rubber pieces do you need?

  • how many motors are needed?

  • @wiiplayerify1 Two. Check the link in the video's description box to see how it's put together.

  • HOW DID YOU MAKE THE HELICOPTER!!!!!!!!

  • @legobunnytrain mahj uses strings to hold the helicopter up so it looks like the helicopter is flying and he also puts a motor there to make the blades spin

  • these are the most coolest vehicle i ever seen!!!!!!!

  • how many tread links and tread wheels do you use in the gray one with the plastic belts :) i would like to built the chassis from the gray :)

  • Richard Branson, stop playing Lego! Make a real rocket faster! lol =)

  • one of the best creations ever.

  • okay That i FUCKING AWSOME nice

  • That's what i call GENIUS!

  • that is unbelievably strong i realise all four tracks run but when it climbed up that rock face i was amazed 10/10 great job

  • Jij bent echt geniaal!!!

  • It's FANTASTIC!INCREDIBLE,JUST INCREDIBLE!

  • where did u get the pieces 2 build those?

  • @funguyhot I buy sets. New in store, garage sales. Secondhand, thirdhand, older still. Sometimes I order special stuff from bricklinkdotcom.

  • would u be willing to sell one i would love to bye one

  • @legocrazy2009 It's more expensive than you think, and more expensive than you'd be willing to pay. I can't offer this stuff at Lego's prices because I don't have a brickmaking factory in my back yard.

  • song? BTW this is amazing i have watched it close to 30 times and still think it is amazing!

  • Very cool build dude. I am also impressed with your pneumatic steering setup.

  • @mr3vil666 Thanks! The steering system isn't actually pneumatic, but it uses linear actuators. It looks the same, but it extends by rotating a screw inside, which pushes the rod in and out. It's very strong, and more precise than pneumatics.

  • One person seems to hate Lego or can't build something like this Stilzkin Indrik.

  • Searme and Mahj should make a awsome vechile togheter!

  • How much would u sell one of those for

  • You are amazing

  • That is cool as hell!

  • why dont u use minifigs?

  • @EthansRandomness Because they don't match the scale I use. Minifigs would just look tiny here.

  • do minifigs fit in it

  • how u make the helicopter

  • This is still one of the coolest off-road vehicules I've seen so far. And this video is just awesome, great work !!

    Big compliments for a genius LEGO-builder and video-maker !!

  • One person don`t deserve to be on youtube

  • made in china

  • And now that you have this... you can take over the world!!! (evil laughter) :D nice job!!!

  • mooi gemaakt

    en

    @iamzid

    it from lego

  • WHERE IS THE FACKING GUIDE OF THAT THING!!!!!!!

Mine has to much trouble turning with the hydro

  • Ok, now its time to move on to 'phase 2' - FULL SCALE!!

No problem, just use youtube's message system.

  • im not even into this kind of thing, im into life size offroading, but i am impressed, you put alot of detail and time into building this, great job, you should make one life size now, theres a good challenge

  • how can i get this? I will pay three hundred for it.

  • y love the machine very very very exelente

  • where did you get those threads

  • do the tracks just rub on the sprockets or am i missing sometthing

  • yo bro, what kind of motors are you using? where can i get them.

  • @cruisx he is using 1 xl motor, it is avaliable from the lego shop at home website

  • I'm sorry if this is noob, but is there really a Lego copter that flies??? From where I am, Lego's costs a fortune and limited to the most basic of basic types of blocks so I never had a chance to play with them. I can only drool watching videos like this...

  • @orien2v2 No, there is no lego helicopter. The motors are not strong eneugh for that. You'll see the wires above the rotor.

  • How much planning do you do before you start a build? I know it's hard to create/draw a plan out for a lego build because it usually never ends up exactly how you planned it before. Thanks, great video!

  • @laxwolf I usually start building the hardest part. In this case, it was getting the rubber tracks to work. After that, I started work on the coupling between the front and rear half, which should steer, swivel ánd transmit power from one half to the other. At that point I try to put the different mechanisms together, and start thinking about how the outside will look. All these steps involve building, taking things apart, rebuilding, rebuilding, rebuilding... you get the idea.

  • @Bladestar549 'Faith' from the Ikaruga soundtrack. It says so in the credits at the end of the video.

  • nice work

  • s.u.p.e.r.

  • That's freakin' amazing dude, awesome work.

  • @OFFRAUDER Под видео, есть линия текста, который говорит "The Stilzkin Igniz is a tracked, articulated, all-terrain...".

  • @mahj omg man if this was a real lego set i would get it great job :D

(This translation is done by a computer and will probably not make any kind of sense)

  • how mutch cost this Stilzkin Igniz offroad vehicle or is it not for sale

  • Where can you get those tracks??

  • Wow, it has so much power and it doesn't crash. Great !

  • very cool

  • If I had seen that while I was a kid, I would have screamed of jaleousy. Amazing work! :O

  • @shletten jealousy*

  • Why am I watching that?! :O

  • great job! :)

  • wow, i love those offroad vehicles.

  • dude very sick!!!!

would u be willing to pass on the instructions??

and just a thought but u should send this out to lego and could make a lot of money off of it i know a lot of little kids amd teens that would like to have something like this its sweet

  • Hi it is very beautiful by chance you have the instructions?

  • Does that helicopter actually work? Great work on the tracked vehicle!

  • It does not fly on it's own, if that is what you mean. There are thin wires holding it up.

  • Love it, it's so impressive the way it drives up and over EVERYTHING.

  • There is always a degenerate bastard that rates this kind of videos less than 5 stars, those people my friend, need to be executed.

5 stars, can't think of anything else to say to this awesome thing. Nice suspension btw.

  • Great video 5/5, great models, and especially the rubbertracks. Thanx for inspiration, I have allready ordered over 300 rubber pieces to use on tracks to my "mars" explorer vehicle I have planned to build.

  • Thanks! Please let me know when you've built it, I'd love to see it. I've been keeping track of bricklink, you're not the first one who's got inspired... :D

  • i saw the whire on the heli

  • @cptrex98 And?

  • Comment removed

  • sweet, whats the song from btw?

  • The song is called "Faith", and is part of the soundtrack of the videogame "Ikaruga".

Curiously enough, this is also mentioned in the credits at the end of this video.

  • Very Cool,Respect !!!!!

  • the track links i mean.

  • At first the gray one was supposed to be the climber. However, the body (built out of hundreds of bricks and plates) was more than half a kilo, which seriously hurt the climbing capability. So I took the rubber tracks, and built the red, light-weight body on top of it. Because I didn't want to waste the grey body, I gave it different tracks.

  • y does the gray one have the normal technic trerd in the video but in the picture its the rubber ones?

  • very cool, LOVE the treads! wish i had that many...

  • What are the tracks made from? I've never seen any like that before!

  • Google "peeron 45590". This question has been answered before...

  • My apologies. Thank you for your help!

  • this is great!!

    great job!

  • no differantals

  • No need for differentials.

  • were did u get those u joints

  • Google "bricklink 9244a". It's the toughest unijoint Lego has ever made. It's a shame they stopped producing them in 1974.

  • I managed to break one of those quite easily, it was prolly defective. Usually they are really very strong.

  • Heel mooi! Ontzettend goed gefilmd ook!

  • Frome where are the rubber lego pieces??

  • For some reason youtube doesn't let me post URLs. Google "peeron 45590" (without quotation marks) and you'll get to a page with more information on them.

  • note:the varsion hanging below the helicopter is smaller then the original :P

  • awesome i wanna know how the tracks stay on

  • I don't see any of the cardboard constructions you and Marnix were making at Legoworld.

Or did you both turn it into that black mountain? :-)

P.s. the rubber Lego part can be found in the new 8258 Lego-set..... ;-)

  • NICE, i was amazed when i saw it climb those rocks,,,

  • very very very nice

  • This thing rules!!! Thanks for mentioning my name as one of the camera crue. I really like the bit when the red one comes out of the cave and clumbs up the rock.

Very nice work on the video making.

  • Lololol!

  • teach me the rubber tracks

  • I thought it was a Dutch brand... :-)

By far one of the best Lego trial vehicles!

( At least much faster than mine. )

  • Absolutely Amazing Job. Great video.

  • Great job Mahjqa! Words cant describe the blooeat and tears you put in this models and video! 5/5+fav!

  • blood sweat and tears

  • wow probably one of your best creation 5/5

  • Whoah. Fantastically well edited video.

    Dr. S.

  • was that heli actually flying?

  • If you look closely, you can see the two wires that are holding it up.
