Fact: VAC will not detect this change in memory and flag it as a bannable cheat, that's why you don't get banned.

Valve CAN add this program's MD5 to VAC's feature of checking if cheat executables are running and make it bannable if they want, though, but I highly dubt they will.

@olavg1984 Maybe in your mind, I personally don't like the lack of tactical layout, lack of new modes(heck it's missing Titan mode from BF 2142), the focus on console/casual play starting with BC1, the horrible client sided hit detection, how broken the game is at higher levels of play, the same handful of structures copy and pasted through every single map(only furthering how terrible map design is), lack of sound equalization, games post BC1 in the BF series competitive wise = fail.

@olavg1984 Furthermore there's the tacky/gimmicky puzzle piece pre-fab destruction of the pre-fab gameworld made only to please console/casuals, rendering is inefficient, AI is awful, controls are still quite lose and there is still input lag, the netcode is possibly the worst seen in an AAA title, the game is simply a joke in hardcore circles as ever game after BF 2142, that isn't to say that it isn't a fun game, however it is an extremely broken game in every way imaginable.

@olavg1984 And now let me clarify how it is broken, map design as I have stated is inherently flawed and that is due to the engine's limitations, hence why so many repeated structures must be used, the unlock system is simply unfair and gives too much of an advantage to players who play more and the game rewards players more for cheapshotting and getting lucky than for actual skill, unlike in BC2 which was far more skill focused, it's pathetic, casual focused, and lacks in-game VOIP..
