  • Peter get the schiff report after this one taken down. I know you were joking around but people will pull clips from it to make you look bad.

  • @wmh1982

GOOD TRY IN PULLING IT BUT WE WILL MAKE SURE IT GOES VIRAL ELSEWHERE.

  • @TheUltraglobalist I wonder why someone like yourself would try to stop a man who wants to give everyone more freedom from getting in office. You suck.

  • @wmh1982

thats only your misguided belief. you suck.

  • Burn up the phone lines for Pete !

  • "if undecided or Linda supporter, may we send you some literature about Peter"

What exactly do they send when I proceed with this?

  • Rumors floating around in CT Simmons might get back into race.

  • @AmericanValues321

simmons is at the very least a sane candidate and not a megalomaniac wingnut like schiff.

  • So many answer machines...

  • I called the residence of a George McMahon! (didn't pick up)

  • @Wcoltd Did you leave a message??

  • @AmericanValues321 no, it didn't give me a line, it just moved onto the next call. :(

  • @Wcoltd the message was marked "null" I would've totally called back

  • Made hundreds of calls and only 3 Linda supporters so far. 2 want a women in government and the other was a Ron Paul fan but believed Linda had better odds because of her money. PETER'S GOT THIS IN THE BAG.

  • @AngryPenguin27 Not much of a Ron Paul supporter if he is ditching Pete to vote for LINDA MCMAHON

  • @AngryPenguin27

haha, you are so delusional its actually funny. what sort of drugs are you taking?

  • The key is to sound like a normal person, not a machine. My script:

"Hi, my name is ____, I'm a volunteer for Peter Schiff for Senate. I was wondering if you guys were following the Senate race at all? Do you have any idea on who you're gonna be supporting? Have you heard of our candidate Peter Schiff? Well, that's why we're calling around. Could we send you something to your door about him before you make your decision? Are you connected to the internet at all? (Website/YouTube plug)."

    EASY.

  • @AngryPenguin27

True True! I'm on my 71 call right now and I keep it going.

  • @ExhibitMan

Was going to take a break at 50 calls, but you've inspired me to go to 100, then a break.

  • @abrownmd

88 calls at this point :)

  • I'm curious to know what the "smart drop" sounds like. Anybody know??

  • 19 calls in 30 minutes. Still on the phone ......

  • starting the call bomb right now

  • @abrownmd

    Yes let's roll!

  • @abrownmd BOMBS AWAY!!!

  • If Peter doesn't win, PIIGS will become UPIIGS, adding in the United States to Portugal, Italy, Ireland, Greece, and Spain.

  • I would Like to get a copy of Peters Books...

  • support you from austria... you`re the best peter! keep it up

  • it just feels like that would do more harm for his campaign than good if a potential voter gets some amateur volunteer on the phone that can't answer basic questions. I think it would be helpful if Schiff made a video that gave a basic template of 3 key talking points to focus on when talking to someone and some type of contingency plan for what to say if they get thrown a curveball. This would probably get me making some calls, just having a solid game plan for the calls before hand.

  • @python49

    I agree

  • Well I guess it's worth commenting since I'm one of the people that hasnt made any calls yet but watches these video blogs. There's 2 reasons mainly that I haven't made any calls. The first one is that I'm not quite sure it would be a good thing for how I have my investments allocated for the US to stop what they're doing necessarily. The 2nd reason is that I really am not sure what my main talking points would be and would hate to get drilled questions that I don't know the answer to.

  • @python49 We're not getting drilled about his background. Most people want to get off the phone quickly. You're asking if they know who they'll support, if we can send them mail about Peter, and telling them about the website. These are common people you're talking to, not interviewers. What they want to know is why YOU'RE so excited about his campaign and you can easily answer that. The website has an "Issues" section you can brush up with too. Now get on the phones! Peter needs you!

  • Mr. Schiff... you are a true American. There is much I can do to help your campaign, but I am so damn busy and lazy in my free time. You have inspired me in many ways to bring back the justice and freedom that is inherent in the human being but, unfortunately forgotten. I hope that I will find the energy to contribute to your campaign. In the meantime, keep inspiring everyone and your words will not be forgotten!

  • @whyohwhy815

Even just fifteen minutes of calling every day or so is better than nothing. Give it a try.

  • @JELB1960

not everyone is a peter schiff zombie cult follower like you ok.

  • @hyperGlobalist

LOL, hyperG, I am amazed at how strongly you feel about this, considering that it appears you made a post very late at night. Yesterday you said you just logged on to get a laugh at Schiff's volunteers but you appear to be posting most of the day and into the night. I can understand a person not liking a candidate, but why do you feel so strongly about this one that you keep posting all day? Have you got nothing better to do on on the weekend? LOL

  • @TimmyOzman

err, anyone with an iphone, ipad or HTC can access the internet on the go. whats so hard about posting replies?

the question i should ask you is, have you got nothing better to do on the w/end than to phone on behalf of a megalomaniac wingut whose business is going to benefit from the free publicity while you receive 0.

  • @hyperGlobalist You sure seem to have lot of spare time on your hands. Do you always take a Sunday morning troll?

  • Sorry Peter I can't phone bank for you. I am an independent. I think you are a great guy. While I agree with your ideas on the fed and wasteful government spending. I don't agree with all your ideas such a healthcare. Healthcare is not a business everyone deserves it. Humans should take care of each other. Insurance companies should not exist. Some things must be socialized like schools, hospitals, fire, police, etc. This I would gladly debate with you. Mosik@aol.com. Stan

  • @mosikkkk Healthcare is abusiness right now...a governmental business...the most wastefull of methods. We as a people thru charity and church will care for one another...but why should I have to pay (thru government...the most wastefull of all delivery systems) for those who sit on the couch and drink a 6 pk a day...snort coke...or eat like a slob and develope diabetes. Medicare is 400 billion a yr cost and it is bankrupting us!!!...so it is a business...a wastefull business.

  • @MrRayRPh

Right on. As Peter points out, whenever (inefficient) government gets involved in a business costs go up. This includes the health care industry. Costs in it keep rising yet the cost of elective, cosmetic surgery keeps falling. Why? The latter isn't subsided in any way so market forces work unimpeded.

  • @MrRayRPh Healthcare is not a business (except in the US) In other countries including the DEMOCRATIC ones healthcare is run by the government for the people. In the US the insurance companies not only make bank from peoples miseries but they spread fear and misinformation to keep it that way.

  • @mosikkkk

Farming run by the government = famine

Housing run by the government = the projects

Healthcare run by the government = rationing and "NICE" deathpanels

Schools run by the government = people graduating high-school illiterate

There are a few things that only the government can do (i.e. military, patents, etc.) for everything else the private sector is more efficient. Competition drives cost down and quality up. Period.

  • @kylethebomber Farming= business, Housing= business, Dropping out of school is a personal decision the government has nothing to do with it. And as far as (Healthcare run by the government = rationing and "NICE" deathpanels) well. that the fear tactics of the insurance co. that I was talking about earlier. All civilized industrial countries except the USA have government run insurance, no one has death panels. Come on people we aren't kid to believe in scary stories.

  • @mosikkkk hahahaha id love to live in your wonderful world where the benevolent government takes care of us all with their loving hands wide open for all no matter of race color creed sex or religion. That being said, it is fantasyland. Won't work, cant work, never has worked. Sux but its true. Government is fire not friend. Government is force not charity. Collective having rights over individuals is tyranny not freedom. but u wont understand this so ill stop typing

  • @funkysnarf My so called fantasy world is a reality in every indusrial country exept the US, Read up on it.

  • @mosikkkk i told you that you wouldnt understand and i was right. you give no proof for your claims... the fantasyland you've been describing is the same communist utopia that has been sought after for 150 years. without a pricing mechanism for services and goods there is NO WAY to distribute goods efficiently which creates malinvestments and maldistribution of goods. Why do you think schools are ALWAYS underfunded. Actually just answer that last question with some sort of credible thought...

  • @funkysnarf U.S has the best schools in the world. Name top 5 universities. Except for 1 which is in England the rest are in the US. Schools government schools are underfunded because society cares about the poorer classes less and less. I suggest you look at Beverly hills high school a government school that for some reason isn't underfunded.

  • @funkysnarf I do understand and my answer is that some things need to be socialized. It isn't a fantasy utopia it is reality in other democratic countries where kids don't really go to college so their standard education of 12 grades need to be good so that they grow up to become well rounded adults. In the US our drop out is a choice of the individual not the governments. No matter how underfunded the schools are. One can still choose to graduate with good grades and go on to college.

  • @kylethebomber By the way USA is the only countries to have death panels now. Just check out all the court cases where insurance companies refused to pay out. People are dyeing from the very thing that they claim will happen with a government run plan. Do your homework so that you won't be tricked by them

  • @mosikkkk I think you're the one who should do their homework. According to the AMA's 2008 National Health Insurer Scorecard, medicare (Read: government run healthcare) was the largest denier of claims both as a percentage and in total. Seriously. Most health insurance companies deny claims at about HALF the rate of Medicare. The NHS over in Britain is notorious for denying healthcare or delaying treatment past any point of value to the consumer (i.e. death).

  • @kylethebomber when I say do your homeworke I mean do it with nutural sources. What youre doing is like asking the NRA on their reasearch on gun control :)

  • @mosikkkk The AMA endorsed Obamacare.

  • @kylethebomber

Dude STFU! The AMA only supported Obamacare because they were forced to by backroom threats from this Thug Administration.

Over 75% of MD's that actually practice don't support Obamacare.

A very small percentage of MD's are in the AMA and most who are have retired, are teachers, or never treated patients in a private practice.

The AMA is only a political organization and they can't be trusted either.

You are a fool if you think most MDs are for Obamacare.

    Regards!

  • @bkdmd I didn't say doctors support it, i was just saying it's a little different than comparing it to using NRA statistics on gun control.

Many doctors don't even belong to the AMA, mostly it's younger doctors who haven't seen much practice yet. But it's still a fairly mainstream place to get statistics. In fact, i don't know of a less bias source.

  • @kylethebomber I don't agree with what Obama has now. It's crap that is nothing compare to what it was originally supposed to have been.

  • @kylethebomber

It doesn't do any good to argue with the nutjobs who think we need single payer. I will never forget under HIllarycare mandates there was no care to be given outside of the government option. If anyone gave any or received any they were both going to be fined $15k/ offense and even in emergencies.

I can't imagine anyone wanting to live in total government control.

  • @kylethebomber Lets settle it this way. Forbes conducted a survey most happiest countries. US didn't make in anywhere near the top of the list. Well being is part of the survey. Check and see if any of these countries have private health insurance. I think not. All public.

P.S. Rest a sure that the insurance co. are doing whats in their best interests not yours.

  • @mosikkkk Sir, a survey is no way to settle anything. If you want to live in Costa Rica (the "happiest" country in the world) then go, but I'm not going to let you turn my country upside down without a fight. Prime ministers, celebrities and Saudi princes don't go to Costa Rica when they get sick, they come here.

My best friend spent all last summer in the hospital with a rare disease that almost killed him. It cost close to a million dollars. The insurance company covered it all.

  • @kylethebomber You are right the Saudi princes come here to get the best treatment in the world. Guess what? They don't use insurance. They pay cash. That is the whole point. Your insurance doesn't cover the doctors they us. Your country is already upside down. Your best friend is one of the lucky ones. No I'm not going to move this is my country too. I'm staying right here and fighting for what I believe in.

  • @mosikkkk I'm not going to shop for insurance for you, but I can tell you that the Keiser Family Foundation found in 2006 that the average cost for a single 25 year old to get insurance was $57/mo, and it was $205/mo for a 60 year old. Sounds pretty cost effective to me. May I be so bold as to suggest a high-deductible plan with an HSA if you are short on cash? Unfortunately Americans have come to expect plans to cover even routine things, and that's not the point of insurance.

  • @kylethebomber We don't have Keiser in Nevada. I don't need you to shop for me. My wife is a nurse we have Insurance. I was just Challenging you. I looked there is none. People that don't have work insurance are getting sc(*&ed .

  • @mosikkkk First: The Keiser Family Foundation is a "non-profit, non-partisan source for facts, information, and analysis for policy makers" not an insurance company. They tend to lean left. Also, you would be getting the money your wife's employer is paying for health insurance as income if they weren't paying it out of pocket. If you look at the history of health insurance in the US, it was originally offered by employers to get around wage controls of WW2.

  • @mosikkkk I would agree that my friend is one of the lucky ones. That is because he lives in the USA. According to the American Cancer Society's 2007 global facts and figures, Americans have a higher 5 year survival rate than Europeans for EVERY SINGLE DISEASE THEY MEASURED for males and ALL BUT 2 for females. Including (but not limited to): Prostate Cancer, Stomach Cancer, Leukemia, Colon Cancer, Testicular Cancer, Melanoma, and Breast Cancer.

  • @kylethebomber I say again use unbiased sources please. AMC is biased .

  • @mosikkkk Oh, OK. I can't use the American Cancer Society, cant use the American Medical Association, can't use the Keiser Family Foundation, guess I'll just have to use the Huffington Post and the DailyKos for all my stats, huh? I'm through with you, dude. You clearly can't listen to facts, and don't have any of your own.

  • @kylethebomber Oh and by the way when the Canadians come here to get treatment they don't use insurance either. They pay cash. You want real ok. I live in Nevada. I have 42 year old wife, I am 39. I have 3 boys 14,10,2. I challenge you to find me a coast effective medical insurance that make sense and post it here so I can see it. Then tell me how good the health system is here.

  • @kylethebomber Sorry typing too fast. I meant cost effective insurance.

  • @MrRayRPh The government does not make a profit from health care. What you are describing is fraud perpetrated by individuals. On the same note there is plenty of insurance fraud. Fake falls, injuries, accidents, and one that best fits you description WORKERS COMP. Which is run by businesses and individual sit on their buts snorting coke instead of working. I will agree that better fraud enforcement is a must.

  • @mosikkkk

I've been reading your debate here, and I have a few comments. About 250 million do have good health insurance, and of those who don't, 1/3 qualify for medicare/medicaid, 1/3 make more than enough to afford it ($75,000), and most of the rest are illegal immigrants. However, there are those who can't afford health insurance, but there are caring people and charities that will take care of them. There are free clinics in the US, and the ER will take anyone who is seriously injured.

  • @mosikkkk

    (cont'd)

The government can, at best, exchange one set of problems for another. If there is not enough healthcare supply, the price will be raised until the effectual demand meets the supply. If the government makes it free, the demand goes up, but there is not an increased supply, so there is a shortage that must be rationed, hence long waiting lines in countries with socialized medicine.

  • @mosikkkk

About the poor, there are many good doctors that want to help those in need, so let them. There are too many rules and regulations preventing doctors from helping those in need. Look up the case of Dr. John Muney.

Yes, the government will make a profit off of healthcare. The government is corrupt. They will appropriate some money for their friends - Medicare/Medicaid have a good deal of fraud.

  • @xp19375

This fraud costs the taxpayers and is worse than profit, since the profit is not earned. A legitimate business must please its customers, otherwise they will make no profit.

I don't see why you think profit is evil, if someone, or a company, does something for me, I think they deserve to make some money. If someone agrees to pay my medical bills in an emergency, I beleive they should make some money from it.

  • ballin. Call bomb on Sunday. Everybody please make some calls even if it is for 10 minutes. We need to win this. We need Schiff in the Senate with Rand and Lee.

  • Pete, I really really want to help, but I am in Nova Scotia, so I just picked up your new book instead, and I gotta say, bang up job!. Also, I am trying my best to spread the word about Austrian economics. It's guys like you that keep me motivated to educate my friends and family. Keep up the battle, there are alot people up here cheering you on!

  • @aenimike You can call from Nova Scotia every bit as easily as someone who lives in New York.

  • @Panpiper

aenimike is right. I enter my Fido (Canadian cell number) into the CallFire program and it calls me and then starts calling people. Easy peasy.

  • big nose worm

  • need help from Canada?

  • Sorry Peter , in living in Australia and phone calls to USA would cost me a hefty penny , specially if i'd have to make 870 ! of them :)

Maybe the reason why only a little over 100 people from over 5000 viewers made the phone calls is because majority of them live outside USA .

Anyway , love your message , keep on spreading it and I hope to hear the good news that You made it to senate ! :)

  • @artyfarty3

Probably over half live in the US. Either way, see my earlier message about how you can use Skype to make the calls from anywhere in the world. The CallFire program will call your US based Skype number and then do the dialing for you. As you're talking via Skype over the net it'll be free - but for the cost of buying a US phone number. Don't know about lag though.

  • Sorry Peter no land line. Set that thing up for Skype and I will make some calls for you man.

  • @BMac7773

If you have a US based Skype number, that can be called from any landline, then you're good to go. Just follow the instructions at the Schiff for Senate site.

  • Go peter!!

  • Comment removed

  • Damn, im from the UK and I wanna get involved in this. Let's spread the word throughout US, Europe, Asia, and Africa.

    Happy dialing indeed!

  • I think Peter have more international viewers than he thinks. So Youtube views count != potential callers.

  • @vaataja YouTube tells him where he gets his views from. He knows exactly how many he has.

  • Hey Peter would you like international users to help you via skype? Please let us all know!!

  • @KenrayWilliams

Hey Kenray, Peter isn't around. He's using his time wisely--promoting his business elsewhere. By now, you should be able to use the system he set up without much supervision.

  • CALLFIRE ALERT!

I think the campaign id has changed - it now shows up as:

    1154762: For Senate

I don't know if this is only a problem for me, but it's stumped me for a bit now

  • The system went down an hour early! >:O

  • @AngryPenguin27

Hmmm. It seems you are right. I was going to resume calling after suppertime (not wanting to disturb people while they ate) but, at this time, it is down. Will keep trying till 8:30 PM Eastern though.

  • I'm from Sweden and I made 64 calls using Skype!

Many of them are not home. I guess 90 % I have talked to, so far, are old people.

Oh, another good thing! My English is getting better!

  • I live in the United States. Will it cost me anything to call using this thing on a landline? Also, can you answer me with a good source so I don't wind up cranking out a $150 phone bill at the end of the month.

  • @zanariot On a landline it is free b/c it is an 800 number.

  • @zanariot It's free from landlines in the United States. It's an 800 number.

  • hyperGlobalist = Vince McMahon...!!!

  • I've been a fan of Peter for over two years now but I have to say: I started making calls this week and I've found that, what with waiting for message machines to beep (so I can click Smart Drop to leave a message), and waiting for the program to move on to the next number (when there's no answer) I can make 30 - 60 calls per hour. That's without actually speaking with anyone. How anyone can make over 800 in eight hours is beyond me.

I'm with you Peter but where do you get these numbers?

  • @JELB1960 I'd also like to know.

  • @JELB1960

i already wrote before that this girl is obviously delusional.

  • @hyperGlobalist

The CallFire program must report how many calls someone makes, not the caller. There's a hard limit to how fast it will let you make calls. Maybe she's not waiting for the beep to Smart Drop a message. Even if so though, I can't see how she or anyone could make 100+ calls per hour.

  • Doing calls now Peter

  • it has been said here that Schiff is a Zionist. Is that true? if it is, then shame on you Schiff, you cannot call yourself freedom-loving. Freedom for Palestine is freedom-loving, not the bloody crimes of a State expansionist entity.

  • @Diogenes1369 are you a moron, does he seem like a Zionist to you. how many libertarians that you know of are Zionist.

  • @JordanViewer I have read a few comments on some of his videos that claim he is pro-Israel and a Zionist. The burden of proof is on Schiff to state his honest belief.

  • i wanna make some calls but i live in Michigan any suggestions skype? i'm at home all day and night i can call a bunch of people ill take any solutions you guys have thanks

  • @mikeroweRules12 A land-line is the best way to go if you've got access to one, the calls will be completely free. You can do it through skype somehow, and I think the same video that explains how internationals can do it will give you a general idea of how to do that (watch?v=YXuKXdaV9R4). A cell phone is fine too, but be prepared to spend some minutes if you don't have an unlimited plan. You can probably switch to an unlimited plan for a month or two for under $30.

  • @mikeroweRules12

    I'm using skype

  • Is a World War III good for your business Peter?

  • I spent over 30 minutes on the phone with a crazy lady who thinks there is going to be a muslim invasion who is going to vote for you.

    Your welcome peter.

Also this crazy bitch better not call me back, im scared she might.

  • @SeaTownJoshTV

if shes not crazy, why would she vote for him in the first place?

  • @SeaTownJoshTV Lol... unless you gave her your phone number she can't call you back. The program dials from the Schiff For Senate headquarters number, and routs it to your phone somehow. Basically if she calls that number back I think she'll just get a Schiff staffer.

  • over 200 today.

  • To all the haters: The last 3 people I called all thanked me for telling them about Peter Schiff! They'll all be checking the website! IT'S WORKING.

  • @AngryPenguin27

yeah right. they were just polite and didn't want to tell you to **** off directly. they were probably laughing at you after you hung up.

  • @AngryPenguin27 If Peter Schiff wants to be honest he would have ready available on his website all the programs (including entitlements) that need to be cut.

  • To many people say they are undecided and seem busy and uninterested.

  • @dukee155 Don't get discouraged, just having them hear the name "Peter Schiff" increases the chance they will vote for him. Combine your personal call with seeing a few dozen yard signs, and maybe they'll check out his website before they cast their ballot in August. Just because you can't get them to commit over the phone doesn't mean that your efforts are in vain. Also, make sure to offer them literature and check the box if they're undecided. That is another plus.

  • @kylethebomber Idk maybe I was calling at the wrong times because I called at 11am and 5pm.

  • @dukee155 Just be polite and get Peters name in. Ask them nicely to look into Peter on their own time.

  • 101 calls today...the trend was messages, undecided that hadn't heard of you and more Linda's than usual...most stated gender as the decider...all stated they would support you if you win the primary...

  • Good Job Sarah!

  • you can't get people to protest the banks or these illegal war

I'm afraid Peter Americans have given up.

the US is too big to fail.

the population that does care, based on philosophy, needs to come together in one state or region and secede

I don't know where libertarians can gather other than Keene, NH or Somalia.

  • @marniespeaks "It does not require a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority keen to set brush fires in people's minds." – Samuel Adams

  • If the Sara story is true than she is an out-of-control girl with an addictive personality.

  • @HyperGlobalist by your reasoning the whole Obama Yes We Can thing is a Jim Jones cult. Stretching just a little, aren't you?

  • Anyone know why I get "error, invalid number" when I try to log-in to the phone bank? I'm following all the instructions. Someone please help b/c I want to call.

  • I keep getting the "Error: Invalid Number" error - I think it has to do with my phone number. But I entered-in my 10-digit phone number in every conceivable way possible - all 10 digits in a row (xxxxxxxxxx); and like (xxx) xxx-xxxx, and like xxx-xxx-xxxx and no way works. It's a cell phone, but it's a normal Verizon phone (and it's the only one I have). I've tried tons of times. I'm really sorry Peter. I can't log-in - no B.S.

  • @HyperInflationNation Call his office at 203-874-6880 and they'll get you set up. Don't be embarrassed, a lot of people have had to call to get things straightened out.

  • I just made 60 calls for Peter. It is so easy and kind of fun. Some people don't appreciate the solicitation but I talked to quite a few people that like what Peter stands for and against.

  • 51 calls, my cell phone is dead, maybe I'll get back on tomorry totally fun to volunteer thank you Peter Schiff

  • Comment removed

  • 18th of July .......... CALL BOMB for Petter Schiff for Senate !!!!! TIME TO ACT. ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS. LETS GET IT DONE!!!!

  • International callers can call people in Connecticut thru Skype, Skype is owned by ebay..all you have to do is buy a usa number in Connecticut when you're on the Skype website..again, easy to do..may cost you $15-$25 for 3 months of use..you can pick any town in Conn for an area code and number..one utuber used Millford conn. So, if you like pete's honesty and dedication to His cause, here's a chance for international callers to make a big difference, keep linda from buying the election.

  • @FXNorm

    Yes I agree!

I don't think it matters what state you choose, because the system works for people living in the U.S. However, it's a good start. Hopefully Peter get's attention to this and he might announce it tomorrow.

    SCHIFF FOR SENATE!

    Let's break the record tomorrow.

  • Get this man a mother fucking blimp!

I was going to go to my grandma's funeral this weekend, but I canceled that shit....I'm gonna make 1,000 calls for this fine man.

    Happy dialing!

  • You can count on me, Peter. I'm making as many calls as I can.

Let's go you lazy bastards! People are very receptive to these calls. A lot of people are real excited to hear about an alternative to Linda. We're making a difference! Get off your ass and save your country! Bomb CT with calls! You know we can do this!!!

  • I bet CT registered republicans are just going to get happier and happier about these calls...

  • Where are you when America and Peter need you ? :(

  • COME ON PEOPLE!

WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR ? AMERICA NEEDS YOU NOW!

  • Peter Schiff why didn't you announce that internationals can now call using Skype?

Time is short and we need more people into this effort.

Com'on people! We need your help.

    Peter Schiff For Senate!

  • I think schiff should do a shoutout to international callers. It can be done with skype.

  • @AM429 The problem is that we have strange accents and it might be weird for people to hear us.

  • @hugolp I wouldn't worry TOO much about your accent, as long as you are fluent in English. America is a nation of immigrants and many of my friends have "strange" accents, and nobody really cares.

I don't want to discourage anyone, but there is kind of a stereotype of tele-marketers from India, so anyone calling with a thick Indian accent should probably be aware of that. Any European accent should be better than fine. They'd probably believe you if you said you were American immigrant.

  • @hugolp I should also say, to people in Connecticut I probably have a strange accent since I'm from the Northwest and we have a different accent than people in the Northeast.

  • @hugolp I'm in the western US and be certain I have a twang in my dialect...it's just flavor in your English...

  • Can Canadians do this?(although I feel funny about telling Americans who to vote for) If not, is there value in people like me doing repeated google searches for 'Schiff For Senate' and clicking the web link to push that up on Googles list of most searched items?

  • Dont feel funny. I just wouldnt brag about it during the calls

  • @TimmyOzman

cold calling is basically trolling with a phone, which is what you are doing on the internet anyway. sure you can do it, how do you think people would respond to a cultist cold calling their residence, telling them stuff they don't want to hear and wasting their time. and probably some other cretin calls them again over the next few hours, with the same garbage.

you would be as popular on the phone as you are on the net.

  • @hyperGlobalist So's knocking on doors.

  • @hyperGlobalist

hyperG, are you opposed to Schiff or just the phone campagne? Please elaborate on your position (what you don't like about Peter, and why we are 'cultists')

  • @hyperGlobalist

hyperG, if you don't like Peter and you think that the phone calls will have a negative impact on his senate campagne, why are you warning his supporters about it? Logic would dictate that you should encourage more phone calls if you think it will hurt his chances. You sound like you are desperately trying to stop the calls and this leads me to believe that they must be having a positive effect on Peters senate run.

  • @TimmyOzman

not really. i just came on to laugh at his supporters. but you asked me for an explanation politely so i replied. although i can tell you that i don't think it works and i also think that the schiffforsenate campaign is one of the worst run political campaigns i have seen. you can be positive about it all you like, just like schiff was convinced he was going to win 15% of the GOP nominations back in may.

this campaign is synonymous with failure. period.

  • @hyperGlobalist

hyperG, which candidate is your preference for this senate race, and what issues cause you to prefer this individual over Peter Schiff?

  • @TimmyOzman

it dosen't matter who i support. for the record, i detest all of them.

however, the reason i detest schiff the most is because he is a megalomaniac wingnut who deludes himself and his cult followers into believing that: 1) he will win 2) he is the best candidate and 3) he will achieve something in washington

the reality is: 1) extremely unlikely for the GOP nom, next to impossible for the senate election; 2) debatable (but he can't even manage client funds well) and 3) 0% chance.

  • @hyperGlobalist

Peter is deluding people? Do you mean like when he deluded Americans several years ago by stating that a serious economic downturn is coming and that Freddie Mac, Fanny Mae and subprime mortgages would be at the root of the problem? Were you amoungst those who where laughing at that 'delusional' prediction back then?

  • @TimmyOzman

anybody with common sense would have seen that coming - its not hard to come to the conclusion that the property market is going to collapse when over 30% of total property loans are liars loans. the point is whether you profited from it. schiff didn't. many true investment professionals did. my firm included.

  • @hyperGlobalist

Interesting, so you would prefer a politician who would prefer to profit from this economic disaster rather than try to warn and prevent it?

  • @TimmyOzman

no, and you should refer back and respond to the 3 points about him deluding people, that i made.

i would prefer a politician who is 1) has a decent chance of winning the election, as a footnote to that political support (obviously not 44 delegate votes) and fundraising capabilities (obviously not a paltry $2.5m) 2) has proven capabilities that relate to policy making and large scale restructuring 3) ability to work w/in the gov't to execute change (related to pt. 1).

  • @TimmyOzman Peter Schiff, if he isn't yet, will be laughing all the day to the bank. Do you know how many additional 'services' he has added to his business since the inception of this 'campaign' and this newly found youtube popularity? Many.

You guys are being used to advertise his business and you'll get absolutely nothing in return...

  • @TheWBAH I meant --he will be laughing all the way to the bank

  • @TheWBAH

I hope Peter gets more business from the publicity to help cover his personal time and wealth that he has dedicated to this. As far as the volunteers getting nothing in return, I'm pretty sure none are doing this for the hope of personal gain.

  • @TimmyOzman

"I'm pretty sure none are doing this for the hope of personal gain."

Hey I certainly am not. I am Canadian and live out west in Vancouver. I'm making calls because I like Peter, I believe he has the solutions to turn things around, and I don't see him getting a fair shake from the mainstream media. (In his own words he's being ignored by them mostly. They're not even mentioning him as a candidate).

C'mon fans! Help Peter in his effort to make a difference!

  • @JELB1960 Yes you're doing it for gain. Of course you're not going to get anything but you sure have hopes. If that wasn't the case, why in the world would you care who is in power????
