I love this video. Your accent is adorable I could listen to you all day long. She reminds me of my Aunt I dearly loved. Louise Decker, this wonderful little lady tackles the biggest fish and makes it look easy. Thank you so very much for sharing the tradition. Blessings!
that is not the correct way to split a cod fish ,you are making it way too hard and you only need a 4 inch blade to do them perfectly, why bother when you cant do them yourself ?
The Video says "Fileting A Cod Fish". This is "Splitting" a codfish". That's what you do to salt cure a fish. Splitting fish is becoming a lost art or skill. Ever during the "hay day" of the cod fishery, not every fisherman was a skilled "splitter" although every fisherman knew how to split fish.

Jesus Christ...I would have walked out as she did the first cut. Her voice is fucking incredibly annoying. A cross between Fargo and some dumb Canadian movie. I'm still listening to this as I type. Christ and heaven hell fuck.....
@PerlePictures first of all we don't care much for people making fun of our accent and second of all have some Respect for your self and fellow man. We all don't sound the same. Here we have a history that goes back over 500 years. with a dialect that's older and closer to old English. So before you write slanders comments learn some history, and you may sound like less of an ass.

I'm not saying she doesn't know what she's doing. She does. There's no getting around that. Her fucking voice is just so annoying.
