Tell me about it! Some years ago I purchased a property buried in the middle of a very large state forest. Thinking I would be forever safe from the sprawling urban development. One decade later it was all gone!
@Carl19372 - looks like I'm following in your footsteps my friend :) But, the terrain here is very, very rough - not to mention steep! Maybe that'll slow'em down?? :)
@AnnieCanada - it was actually about 3 days as I pulled some out so I wouldn't bore everyone to death, but I wish I hadn't now because I love seeing the rhythem of the forest :)
@hankplow - it is a beautiful location and I can't wait to surround myself with it! So far so good, much can be done when the bureaucrat's step out of the way! The logs should be coming down from Canada by the end of the month if all goes well and the snow is easy on us :)
This was a joy to watch, Mother! Something about timelapse that is always fascinating. You get to see the rhythm of life and time in a extraordinarily different way. I always enjoy them. I often imagine this is how God might be experiencing his creation. :)
@battlebauble - thank you! I enjoy timelapse as well just for the reasons you state - you can see the rhythm of life as it points to a specific location in a specific direction - now, turn around and the rhythem is different - it's all magical to me :)
@PappyStu - hey you! Good to be here too - I love timelapse As you can see, I pulled out a couple of days just to keep the vid shorter - I love how the shadows play on the trees and the snow coming in and melting away with timelapse :)
@MrRandomWritings - thank you Brian! I'm starting to allow myself to get a little excited - should be in by summer's end - I've got both a timelapse and a motion sensor camera hanging out there in the forest to watch the progress. Not much lately but it should pick up with the snow melts - funny how one house is at sea level and the other 6500 elevation :)
This is so cool, I feel like a little kid again. My eyes hypnotized by what I'm viewing...like what's next?...ooh! LOL!!~Phurdrick
