I cant understand why these foreign Bangladeshi's are excited for, why don't they just accept the fact that they are not recognised neither by the Bangladeshi people or the Government of that country as Bangladeshi citizens, the expatriates are only called when they are needed, in terms of money and relief help ect, but they are forgotten otherwise.

how you feel about it and the reality are two different matters, and dont presume to speak for all bangladeshis. the vast majority of british bangladeshi passport holders have a no visa stamp, which entitles them to full bangladesh citizenship in two separate acts of BD parliament. this is becouse of the hugely dispraportionate investment in bangladesh by these foreign bangladeshis, in terms of access into business and development, far more would be granted to a foreign bangladesh than to you...

yes the Bangladeshi government recognises the expatriates as a dual citizens thanks to the Acts implemented by the Pakistani authorities prior to 1971, the Bangladeshi authority must not get the credit for such Acts, and as you rightly said, the Bangladeshi government only regards us as citizens due to one reason, we provide, and have been providing for the past three generations if not more, and what do we get in return,,nothing, nothing what so ever.
