The babies are cute and all but I really do not feel like she has very much trust in Nick or the marriage itself. They also never ever talk about the fleet of care takers that are on board to take care of celebrity babies. They always make it sound like they travel the world, do a million and one things in a 24 hours period and totally take care for every single need the kids have. Us in the real world who have kids and try to do that every day know it is just not possible to do so.
Seeing the look of love and pride on their faces just from staring at their beautiful children in their crib made me like these two alot more, they looked so happy, and proud, and just...normal...sometimes I get a weird detached feeling with celebrities and their babies, but these two seem so real when together.

I've always loved Mariah. I am so happy that she found a love. Babies are beautiful like mommy. She deserves those children more then anything else...

Why are people stuck with talking about the "color" of the babies and Mariah!? WHO CARES!!!! The babies are cute, healthy and I'm happy for her. She will make a great mother. And Nick is a very hands on father. The issue with the interview to me is her saying she trusts him "sometimes" and that he's "mean"! WTH ?!

@msnatural1000 Listen to the "memoirs of an imperfect angel album" and you can see what all that was about. It came out a year after they married and was filled with songs about mistrust.. She's a real artist and always puts her personal life in her music.. That album was about trusting a man and him cheating on her and her forgiving him and choosing to stick it out.. well, that's what i got from that album anyway.

This has nothing to do with racism but simple genetics. A bi-racial woman and a black man do NOT produce a "light skinned" or a "white" baby much less two. Still doubting well here's an example: Pres. Obama is a "mulatto man" (two races) marries a black woman his kids are guess what black. For all you P.C. people out there i speak from experience I see this in my own family it has nothing to do with racism. this is B.S. that's what Hollywood does best brought to you by ABC.

@SOCIALISTA2000 Maybe you are just not aware, but black babies are often born light skinned and darken as they grow and get older. The pigment in their skin needs sunlight.

Yes I 'am aware of this, the word that your looking for is "melanin" that determines our skin color. But you also have to understand that these children are already 6-7 months old. By the sound of things you probably believe that Michael Jackson's children are his too.

@ejkrausee That is very true. My niece was the color of Alicia Keys when she was born and my brother and his wife are both dark-skinned. She was that color for about two months before she finally got darker...and now she is more of a caramel color which is her true color.

@ejkrausee I know I darkened substantually when I got older. Mostly around the ages of 5 to 7. My 1 year old niece and 3 year old nephew are already getting darker.

@SOCIALISTA2000 In the black race, two dark-skinned parents can have a light skinned baby if one of the grand parents was fair. In the Caribbean you see it all the time. So its not impossible, just look at LaToya Jackson, she fairer than all the others, does it mean that she's not Joe and Katherine's. Blacks are not like whites...OK

I know I shouldnt say this but is anyone else thinking that mariah is half black and her husband is definately black. But the babies are white!!! Beautiful but you know you were thinking it too...ya know...maybe she used other eggs?

@TheNATEDWG No its all genes, a lot genes cause a full range of skin colors. google Mendelian genetics , so maybe you can image it a little bit. So it would be even possible that one would be black the other white or in between.

@TheNATEDWG The kids may get darker...but let's be real. Mariah is not half black. She is 25% black. Therefore she is almost white. Therefore it is very plausible for her kids to be that light even with a black husband.

@ReneeDreams Mariah is not just 25% black. Her father's grandmother was Venezuelan, not his mother. So Mariah is 37.5% Black, 12.5 percent Venezuelan, and 50% Irish.

The babies are cute and all but I really do not feel like she has very much trust in Nick or the marriage itself. They also never ever talk about the fleet of care takers that are on board to take care of celebrity babies. They always make it sound like they travel the world, do a million and one things in a 24 hours period and totally take care for every single need the kids have. Us in the real world who have kids and try to do that every day know it is just not possible to do so.

Seeing the look of love and pride on their faces just from staring at their beautiful children in their crib made me like these two alot more, they looked so happy, and proud, and just...normal...sometimes I get a weird detached feeling with celebrities and their babies, but these two seem so real when together.
