However, a Xbox 360/PS3 were built in 2005 (?), and from now on nothing has changed in the things inside your console, because their companies won't develop new processors/video cards, because they are probably already working on a new console (Xbox 720? PS4? Who knows...).

Making long story short: PC guys are constantly upgrading it's devices.
