they are fine for putting around in the yard but if you actully want to offroad you need a namebrand quad. i took my chinese quad to harlan kentucky and its sprocket lost a tooth so the chain kept slipping and it was doggy all the way up hills. we threw it behind a bush and i rode with someone else.

I purchased a 125 Tao Tao from ATVwhole sale outlet. in 2007. We have ran the heck out of it, and keep the oil changed. My son and I both grown adukts have riden it together lol heck of fun. Not much seat space for two adults but awesome fun. Having it for over 4 years we finally are putting in a new starter. Last summer we took the quad to Idaho, having fun my son accidently dumped it into a canal. We took it out with a tractor change the oil and the spark plug runswell.. GREAT QUAD

This one has only been offroad. I took my son to River Run in Jacksonville, Tx, it did just fine on trails and moderate terrain.

Need to run compression check and make sure it is at least 90psi, if not need top end rebuild.
