Jerry is by no means bad. And by the time I saw them at Warped in late July, he had gotten much better and was pretty damn good with the band. Definitely amazing stage presence. But I would love to see Austin. He's left both bands(Attack Attack and Of Mice & Men) before I got the chance to see him.

Fry is exhale, but you tighten your throat moreso and get the raspy/scream sound in a sense without pushing all of your air out as Mike Hranica does or Mattie Montgomery from For Today. They actually do a scream that takes endurance and lungs.
@HCMetalhead2010 Sigh.. fry screams are Dimmu Borgir, Abigail Williams, Cradle of Filth. Mattie, AND AUSTIN use FALSE VOCAL CHORDS. However, Jake from August Burns Red, the guy from All That Remains, and Jerry Roush all simply yell, with a bit of false vocal screams. What Mike does (I do it too) is vocal scream, but with a lot more passion. This means your screams fade from yelling into false vocal screams. It may be harder to sustain, but it's not more talented. It's just with more passion.

Jerry is by no means bad. And by the time I saw them at Warped in late July, he had gotten much better and was pretty damn good with the band. Definitely amazing stage presence. But I would love to see Austin. He's left both bands(Attack Attack and Of Mice & Men) before I got the chance to see him.

@Marknarcotic well, not everyone has the talent Austin does, that's for sure, but get over yourself, it was their decision to kick out Austin, and it was for good reason, he had surgery on his heart. But, if you haven't heard, Austin's back. It said so on his tumblr. He's back in OM&M! :D So you can stop bitching on Jerry, cos if this is true, Jerry's probably sitting at home now. with out a job. :/ lol?

I don't remember bitching on Jerry, I'm simply putting out the fact that he doesn't belong in OM&M like what ryanbanan said, If you haven't noticed yet, the way he sang their songs are just completely different from what they really sound. He also deserves what he got now for insulting Austin during a Second and Sebring performance.

@wehaste1 A fry scream is an exhale scream.... For Lows i guarantee he'll sound just like Jake from August burns red and thats as low as it will go.... Jake does fry screams also... Fry is exhale, but you tighten your throat moreso and get the raspy/scream sound in a sense without pushing all of your air out as Mike Hranica does or Mattie Montgomery from For Today. They actually do a scream that takes endurance and lungs.

@HCMetalhead2010 Sigh.. fry screams are Dimmu Borgir, Abigail Williams, Cradle of Filth. Mattie, AND AUSTIN use FALSE VOCAL CHORDS. However, Jake from August Burns Red, the guy from All That Remains, and Jerry Roush all simply yell, with a bit of false vocal screams. What Mike does (I do it too) is vocal scream, but with a lot more passion. This means your screams fade from yelling into false vocal screams. It may be harder to sustain, but it's not more talented. It's just with more passion.

@supamangalvan90 He usually doesn't cup the mic, I have a feeling his voice was fucked up during this show. Because @racmsta is right, Austin has the best scream going nowadays. He really is THAT good.
